Interesting, enjoyable and light hearted. Thoroughly enjoyed it - wish we had done it at the beginning of our holiday rather than near day 8 when we were leaving! (he had some good tips for places to eat and buy wool products at reasonable prices).

Mathias was friendly, knowledgeable, and introduced us to a variety of delicious dishes. He was also a great resource for places to try later in our stay. Highly recommend this food tour!!

Really enjoyed this tour and wish I had done it soon after arriving in Reykjavik rather than a couple of days before leaving (we were there 8 days). Lots of interesting history, stories and facts, pitched at a really appropriate level. Valur kept our interest and answered all our questions. Highly recommend

Fun food experience
We had a great afternoon with Einar who kept us entertained and informed while we eat some delicious food and toured Reykjavík. Would recommend this tour and encourage everyone to try the fermented shark which is an experience! Come hungry as the portions at each stop are more than just tasters.

This was not a show or value for money. It was a 20 minute recording of volcanoes, available on you tube followed by a women poking lava with a stick. Totally under welmed.

Thoughtful food experience was a hit!
Angar (forgive me if I’ve misspelled your name) was a fabulous and most knowledgeable tour guide for our food tasting experience here in Reykjavík Iceland. His lifelong experience of living in Iceland, as well as being able to share a family history and facts about the country made our food tasting experience all the better! He is sincerely, a nice person, and it was wonderful to be able to sit down and enjoy an evening of good food with a very nice individual who is very attentive to everyone’s needs. Thank you for a great time!
