Elves, trolls and Einar

A lot of walking but frequent stops. Einar was a gem and I highly recommend him as a tour guide. He told great stories and was very well informed of his subject matter. He is animated acting out his stories. Just great. Kept our group engaged and interested. I absolutely loved this tour.

We had a great time with Bardi as he took us on our cat walk tour last week! Though we did not see all of the cats (understandably so, they work on their own schedule) we did enjoy seeing and being formally introduced to some of the famous cats in the city center, including Bardi's cats themselves. Very informative and fun tour I'd recommend if you have an hour or two to spend and love cats.

Interesting insight into how Christmas is celebrated in Iceland. I wish we could have seen more instead of spending the last 45 minutes getting hot chocolate.

Our guide, Stephan I, was wonderful! He told great stories and even sang for us. He brought Reykjavík to life for us. 100% awesome! We visited all the top spots, and learned history and mythology. Definitely a great way to get oriented to the city.

Wonderful…. Not only a history and taste of holiday food, but our guide gave us a history lesson of Iceland. We had no idea of the quantity of food we would be eating on the tour, and if we were going to need to eat dinner after, but we we were all stuffed. More food than I could eat.

Went on a beer tour back in November and it was a great experience. Our guide was incredibly friendly and gave us a lot of facts about Iceland and it's history of beer and prohibition. The bars he took us to were also very close to each other which made walking in the cold not so bad. The beers were all amazing too. Overall, the best guided tour I've ever been on.
