Great way to get familiar with Reykjavik!

Had a lovely first walk around Reykjavik and learned so much about the history of the city. I would highly recommend a tour like this on your first day in Iceland as it gave me a great lay of the land. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and it was a fun experience.

Great tour and tour guide!

Our food tour was a lot of fun. You get to try different Icelandic dishes (seafood stews with sourdough bread, Icelandic appetizers, Icelandic sweets, even fermented shark!) and get a good history lesson on the country as well. The portions are generous and you will definitely be full after this tour. We ended the tour with a drink (non-alcoholic versions available too) at a local pub. Einar was a wonderful guide. He's friendly, very knowledgeable, and accommodating. I recommend this tour. If you go, do take his advice when eating the fermented shark, you will be glad you did!

Polli gave us a great overview Of Reykjavík. He was also entertaining and his information didn’t feel rehearsed and old He talked about ancient Iceland, architecture, folklore and food. Plus more that I can’t remember. Amazing guide!

A highly recommended tour with a very friendly local guide

A great food tour with our lovely guide Einar who was very friendly and great company and very knowledgeable. We ate some very tasty food but also learned about the Icelandic way of life and culture. A lovely evening and a highly recommended tour.

The local perspective on history and now

Guide Einar was so flexible, knowledgeable, and personable. He likes his job! A high light was learning about his family history inside an historic church, and he even sang for us. We covered a lot of sights at a reasonable pace. I learned a lot, and he welcomed questions. It rained a bit, and I was still happy about this tour. He took and later shared photos from our time together. I thought the cost was fair.

The cat walking tour was great. Matias knew where the cats would be hiding and had treats to feed them. He also had great recommendations for Reykjavik and knew many Icelandic stories.
