The stories about Reykjavik's folklore is very interesting. Our guide Mathias talks about it in a really entertaining way. My partner and I had a very good time and enjoyed the tour.

My husband and I are cat lovers and this tour was one of the higlights of our Iceland trip. I was deeply moved by our guide's deep affection for cats and I was impressed by his extensive knowledge of cats and the city. I could have spent a lot more hours just talking about cats and sharing stories and photos. We had a lot of fun searching for and meeting the local celebrity kitties while also learning a lot about the city and folklore. The cat cafe resident cats were sweethearts (I melted when one of them started grooming me), and the pastry and coffee were delicious. If you love cats, I absolutely recommend this tour.

Go hungry. Lots of food. Think multiple small plates. In snowy weather dress to walk through snow, slush, and puddles.

We have taken at least a dozen food tours in various countries and I would rate this one as average and overpriced. Food was just okay and not plentiful, guide did not provide a lot of history/context and it all was pretty lackluster. The 150 dollars would have been better spent going to restaurants by ourselves. I don’t recommend this tour.

We booked a Walk with a Viking. It was very informative and interesting. Our guide Hrafn was very competent and spoke a perfect English easy to understand. He shared a lot of interesting details on Reykjavik’s history. We really enjoyed walking with him. Heidrun and Ulrike

Really pleased we booked this 2 hour walking trip. Hrafn, our tour guide, was friendly and knowledgeable, giving us a real insight into the history of Reykjavik and Iceland. Perfect start to our stay - would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Mathis led us on a wonderful tour through Reykjavik on a cold, windy, hail/rain/snowy day. While the weather kept many outdoor cats away, he was able to find some of the most popular ones in different indoor places. The cat cafe was a perfect break with the hot cocoa/coffee/pastry in the middle of the time, and the end at a cat art location was perfect. Even in bad weather, the walking tour was absolutely wonderful. As Mathis said, people who loves cats are generally great people. 100% worth going for any cat lover.

Beer tour was outstanding!! My wife and I had Bo as our tour guide. Three stops-10 beers! Every beer was amazing. First stop Skuli, Second stop was Lenny’s where we picked any 5 beers. Third place I can’t remember—lol! Great tour guide , knowledgeable, easy to talk to, good sense of humor! We had fun! Highly recommend

Magnus our guide was...

Magnus our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The vehicle we travelled in was as great and made us feel very safe in difficult conditions. It is a long day but having your own guide took all that stress of driving in snow storms away. My only criticism would be it is described as a private tour, but for the snowmobiling you join a much larger group for the transfer and activity. This is not made clear in the description and should be. It took the gloss off an ‘exclusive’ experience!
