Wonderful first-time experience in Reykjavik
Rinse was absolutely wonderful to spend the afternoon with. So charming and funny, knowledgeable about the city and the local kitties! We ended up on more of a "celebrity cat tour" instead of a tour of Reykjavík, but we didn't mind. I would absolutely recommend anyone try this if you like kitties and are interested in spending a few hours at local shops looking for them!

Save Your Money
I was so excited for this tour. I love Cats and I was looking forward to seeing them and Hearing about some of the history. Unfortunately, this was a very long and not very interesting tour. The guide Eina although pleasant, was not very engaging. I have been on many, many tours and this was not good at all.

The Cat Cafe was good, but the walk was disappointing. Too much general information that was not relevant to cats.

We thoroughly enjoyed Einar’s company and commentary, learning about the history of Iceland and seeing some of the original buildings. It helped us to understand the local culture and to appreciate more our time here. On a personal note, Einar was charming, witty and very knowledgeable and even brought a hymn to life for us!! I am more than happy in recommending Einar for a walking tour to bring Reykjavik to life for a visitor.

Great city with lots to see and a lot of history. People are super friendly, you really don't need cash since most places prefer credit cards

I'm giving this tour 5 stars because that's all TripAdvisor will allow! Our guide Stefan was excellent. His knowledge and how he can tell a story is first class. I won't spoil the content, but I can assure you that you're in for a real treat. His stories of folklore and his retelling are so engaging. Definitely book this tour, and you will not be disappointed!

Einar was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to find cats on our catwalk tour, sing traditional Christmas songs, and take photos to commemorate the tour.

Such a unique walking tour of Reykjavik. Hrafn was a great storyteller—we learned about fairies, gnomes, trolls and a few black magic tricks for the next party!

This was a great first day activity for us in Reyjkavic. We landed at 6am and couldn’t get into our hotel til 2 so we scheduled the food tour at 11. Our guide was fun and informative and we got to see many parts of Reykjavik and explore with someone in the know. Loved it!

A wonderful private tour today with a most knowledgable and entertaining host, Einar. He shared fascinating historic and cultural gems about Reykjavik and Iceland and his impressive detail about each stop along the tour was very captivating. A true natural with people and a generous spirit, we definitely felt like he was a friend guiding us around and sharing his time with us.
