our tour guide Stefan/Iceland was so polite easygoing, engaging, knowledgeable the 2hour tour absolutely flew by, even though it never stopped raining.

Enjoyable tour for cat lovers
A wonderful walking tour that takes you around Reykjavík. I really enjoyed seeing the shop cats that are allowed to come and go as they please. The hot chocolate and bread at the cat cafe were tasty and a great stop to warm up. The duck pond was full of life and was a wonderful stop. The cat murals were also beautifully done and wonderful to see. The only reason I'm not giving this tour 5 stars is because we expected to see the large cat statue used as the main photo for this tour. We didn't realize it's the Yule cat statue that is only up for the Christmas season, so that was a disappointment.

A different type of walking tour that made me feel much more connected to the culture of iceland than I would’ve if I’d just walked around without a guide! I really enjoyed the experience and learnt a lot about icelandic history and culture. Fantastic tour all round.

Stefani (or Stefan I? Forgot to ask which was the proper spelling) was a very knowledgeable guide who made sure to engage with everyone in the group. There were a variety of stories about Icelandic folklore which were interesting, and with Stefan's sound effects you could easily imagine how they played out (at one point he even sang an Icelandic lullaby that relates to one of the stories, and it really helped immerse us into the tale). Would absolutely recommend this tour to others!

Wonderful walking tour
The folklore walking tour was absolutely delightful! A truly wonderful way to see a little bit of Reykjavik the city and to learn about the culture of Iceland. Our tour guide, Stefan I, was absolutely terrific. We really enjoyed this tour and all of the things that we learned about the local lore. We would highly recommend and would go again.

Cat walking tour
A must for cat lovers. Includes a cat cafe. Our tour guide was funny, informative and friendly. Enjoyed all the stops, especially all the cats. Highly recommended.

A great food walking tour led by Stefan. An excellent and varied selection of icelandic specialities - from smoked lamb tartar to baccalao. Stefan brought the food to life and entertained us as we went to a variety of restaurants in Reykjavik centre.

Stefane was our guide and we had such a great tour with him! He was an excellent storyteller, we learned the cultural context and history of each dish we tried as well as interesting folklore, norse mythology and fun facts about the Icelandic language. We got to try so many different foods on this tour and also got to see much of the downtown area. This was definitely a highlight of our trip!

We did the 2 hours Reykjavik Cat Tour and it was great! Our guide was friendly and full of useful information, took us on a nice itinerary off the beaten path, gave us interesting information on Reykjavik and took us to a really cool cat cafe where we drank the best hot chocolate ever, in company of quite a few cats that provided lovely entertainment. All the cats on the tour were quite cool, some more friendly that others and overall the whole experience was lovely and I highly recommend the tour. I feel the cats in Reykjavik have a special place, and this tour helped us understand this more and appreciate the city and its cats even more!
