Such a fun tour!
I did the Reykjavík Cat Tour with my partner, sister, and her husband — and we all had the best time! Our guide was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about both cats and the city, which made the whole tour feel so personal and engaging. We got to explore the city, meet lots of adorable cats, and hear some great stories along the way. It was such a fun, unique way to see Reykjavík. Highly recommend for any cat lovers!

Lovely Viking Tour Guide
oh my gosh i had such an amazing time on this tour! i met some lovely people and the tour guide was so lovely, i can’t quite remember his name but it began with a H and he had a beard. I went on this tour on my final night in iceland and it was a perfect way to finish the trip! thank you so much and there are pictures included too.

Super Sweet Tooth Tour
A great birthday treat for my sweet toothed daughter. Bo was friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. Bakabaka was fantastic. We returned later in our holiday for pizza which was just as awesome as their daytime baked goods. Rye bread ice-cream from Valdis is a must try. I loved the fermented liquorice at Taste of Iceland, my family preferred the chocolate and jams. A great couple of hours and good value.

My family and I went on the Folklore tour. Our guide was an amazing storyteller. He would change his voice, play eerie music, and show some pictures to enhance the folklore stories. He was entertaining and took us to various spots throughout the city.

I got to visit AWEmazing Iceland for the first time in March (2025) and the very first thing I booked was the Reykjavík Cat Tour! It was SO meowuch fun, and tour guide, Einar, is meow-some! Einar is super friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining - he knows how to pivot quickly to keep the experience interesting and engaging! Part of the tour involves visiting cats in a variety of shops. Cats being cats, though, sometimes these celebrity kitties were “not in office” as expected. Einar effortlessly met that challenge by providing us exciting storytelling and singing, in a bookstore! As an introduction to Iceland - its culture, lore, and locals - I highly recommend the cat tour with Your Friend in Reykjavik - it was purrfect!

The best guide we could have asked for! Christina gave us one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Iceland. Her walking tour in Reykjavik was not only informative, but full of fun, laughter, and little local secrets you won’t find in a guidebook. She was amazing with our kids – brought bread so they could feed the geese and even treated them to local snacks. They were absolutely thrilled! She also gave us amazing tips for our road trip around Iceland. We followed her restaurant recommendations across the country and every single place she suggested was outstanding. We ate some of the best meals of our lives thanks to her! Can’t recommend Christina enough – she’s not just a guide, she’s a true ambassador of Icelandic hospitality!

Highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves cats.
My husband and I throughly enjoyed our CatWalk in Reykjavik. Our guide was excellent. We share his love of cats and were delighted to meet many of the city's feline residents. He taught us a lot about the city and its history as well. We enjoyed visiting the cat cafe as part of our tour. We stopped in for a second visit before we left Iceland.

We had a great evening in the walking food tour. Pauli was our most capable guide and we had done very interesting locations that we visited. He knew lots of historical details and we had a good time. Definitely worth the time
