Nice size group around 12. Magnus our guide is a smart, personable guy and is a great tour guide. We enjoyed the 2 hour very much.

Memorable Walk /Mangus!

Mangus was our tour guide and he was SO gr8. Walked all over Reykjavik and his history lessons and stories were so informative and he presented it ALL w/lots of enthusiasm. 5 stars 4 sure!!!

If you are a cat person, this tour is great. We also got to learn a lot about the town. Stephen I was our guide and he was fantastic! It was a perfect size small group. We loved everything about it!

I think the food was great but I think our guide may have skipped a place. At the beginning he told us we would try the lamb/salmon tartine, hot dog, shark, cod, candy and lamb soup. However, we never tried the lamb soup. I looked at other reviews and saw pictures of the stew. with that said, I do think it kind of sucks that we pay that much money and don't get the full value. Not sure if the tour has changed but the listing also says we would try that. On a side note, while our guide was very nice, I think he was a little disorganized. I also don't appreciate how when we were taking group photos, he grabbed my side really hard and didn't let go, even when I tried to move away. I am very short and he was very tall, so his hand didn't need to be there in the first place. It made me really uncomfortable.

Fun, engaging and informative.

Stefan approached Icelandic food culture with humor and lots of great information. He was very engaging. We tried all sorts of traditional dishes. Some were delicious, some were “interesting.”

Esther was the best...

Esther was the best guide! We were laughing the whole time & learned a lot. Great way to spend an hour and a half & get insight from a local that we will carry with us when we travel home. Anyone would be lucky to take a tour from Esther. May god and the guardians bless you!

A great walk with a Viking

This was a nice paced walk. Stefan I is very knowledgeable and friendly. He kept the group engaged as well as educated us on Reykjavik. I highly recommend this tour.

A Lovable Viking Tour

Magnus was descended from the Vikings as was my family on my mothers side:) He was very approachable could answer every question thrown at him from Volcanoes, (an expert on this topic), the geology of Iceland, and the history of Reykjavik. It was a small group of about 10, a comfortable walk just the right pace. He made us want to come back to Iceland in the near future for sure!

Excellent tour

Excellent tour of some of the most interesting parts of Reykjavik. And we received free! Group pictures taken at many of the stops along the tour. Tour guide was excellent.

Our group was small - 6 people so we had the opportunity to ask Einar lots of questions. He was great and we were sad to leave him at the end of the tour.

Amazing informative tour!

I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and I learned so about the very niche history throughout the city. Along with this, our tour guide had extensive expertise in volcanic activity which was my favorite part!
