Cat walk
We are 80+ years old and the hills in Reykjavík were too steep for us to climb. You might want to consider reorganizing the trip to start at where you ended the trip to allow for the walking to be all downhill. We took a cab over to the square where you started the trip and easily could have taken the cab uphill. 2. The cat cafe had two cats on display. Not enough. We were in one in England which had several dozen.

Take this tour on day one!
Ester was a wonderful guide. We learned a lot about Iceland from her. This is not a viking history tour. We misunderstood that when we booked. Nonetheless, this is a great day 1 tour.

A truly unique way to see the city, visit some charming locations and see some adorable cats! The tour guide is knowledgeable and friendly! My daughter and I are so glad we did this tour!

Okay but niche
While I am not that interested in the arts, if you are interested in those things, Einar is really knowledgeable about those things and his passion for local art is obvious on the tour. The tour included all of the must see local sites and Einar made sure to photograph all of the sites and sent us a shared folder of the site photos with the tour company logo. The tour was definitely a small group, with our tour only having four people so we always felt included and never felt lost in the crowd.

A very gentle Viking Tour
Magnus is a pleasant young man who is very unlike the stereotypical image of a Viking. He leads a laid-back and entertaining tour. I was a bit disappointed about the very limited scope of this two-hour walk.

Really great experience...
Really great experience with lots of opportunities to sit and take a break. Tour guide was excellent and asked if we had questions often. Lots of cat cuddles with a chance to sit and show our own cat pics and talk about our pets. Highly recommend to any cat lover or anyone looking for a unique tour with history and personality.

Good walking tour and tour guide is friendly and rich of knowledge but we had a big group which made things too slow unfortunately perhaps if we were separated in to two groups would’ve been better

We went on the Reykjavik Folklore Walking Tour with Mathias today. He was informative and creative as he spun tales about the hidden people, elves and trolls weaving in local history as well. Definitely recommend!

Time Well Spent!
Had a fantastic afternoon with Pallie, the legendary guide who was born & raised in Reyjkavik and spent his career as a fisherman. He shared so much history about Iceland & the city. He guided us through the old town, carefully pointing out the past. He captured our attention with his knowledge and stories about his past. The communication and organization of the tour was excellent! Highly recommend this tour and company!

Tour for Cat Lovers!
Our tour guide was fantastic - very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about the history of cats in Iceland and got to meet several of the present-day city cats. We did the tour on our first day in Reykjavik and then had fun spotting cats throughout the city for the rest of our visit.

I wasn't expecting a lot by the City walk living in the capital area but the historical and cultural intercourse with Icelandic flavors in the end gave me what neither I knew to want - to know better the place I live and the culture I didn't grew up in + few other recommendations. Recommend very much!
