This tour was great! The variety of food choices was good, giving us a real taste of local flavors that we might not have discovered on our own. Our guide, Robyn, was fantastic. She was engaging, knowledgeable, and full of interesting stories about Reykjavik’s history that added to the overall experience. We took this tour on our first day there, and then used it as a guide for where to eat for the remainder of our visit in Reykjavik. They also emailed us a recipe book with traditional Icelandic recipes afterwards, which we look forward to trying. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Iceland through its food and culture!

If you like cats……

If you like cats then this is a must do tour. The guide, stephani, was hugely knowledgeable and guided us admirably. The cats love the attention. A mid point is a stop at the cat cafe for coffee (or hot chocolate) and biscuits and, of course, many cats!

Tipsy with great brews !!

Great Tour. Visited 3 different bars. The first one, Skuli was the best one. Great 4 beers and sour to taste. Even went back another time to get a full beer of my favorite. The 2nd tasting was okay. This was a beer garden, and you got to pour 5 beers of your choice. They had at least 20 various ones to choose from. Unfortunately, the ones that I would have liked, they were out of. Also, it was cold outside and we sat outside. I was freezing and would have preferred to be inside. The last stop was inside a bar and the tasting was basically a full glass of beer. Each sample was a very generous portion. The guide was very knowledgeable and fun. A definite must do tour.

Max was an engaging and informative guide and hosted a very interesting walk around Reykjavik. We learnt a great deal without being totally overwhelmed with details. A very good introduction to Iceland.

Stephan I took us on a leisurely stroll through town to see the kitties, quite a nice way to spend a couple of hours in Reykjavík. One of my family was sick and had to cancel at the last minute, and the company went out of their way to find another time he could attend once he was feeling better. Would def use again for their customer service alone!

We spent our last hours of our Iceland vacation on the cat tour in Reykjavik. Our guide, Bardi, was fantastic! He is so passionate about Icelandic history as well as cats. We saw many adorable cats on the tour but it was the stories he told about them that made it so special. He pointed out buildings and landmarks and knew so much about the city. He played a few songs about cats (opera and rap 😂) and showed my son some pictures of cats in history (on the Titanic for example). My son was talking about it on our way home yesterday…he’s 14 so I loved that he enjoyed the tour. We also enjoyed our time at the cat cafe. It was a wonderful experience to end a vacation that will be on my mind (and in my heart) for a very long time. 🐈🐈‍⬛💗

We had a great time! Such an interesting experience and we loved seeing all of the places and hearing the ghost stories. The cemetery was my favorite part!

Folklore tour is magical

Stéfan was a magical guide, leading us through Reykjavik with stories of elves, trolls and witches. We learned about the 13 Santa lads. And after the bells of Christ the King’s cathedral finished pealing, he sang two terrifying lullabies. The tour of Hólavallagardur cemetery was lovely. Highly recommend this tour!

Enjoyable Tour of Reykjavik

We enjoyed our tour of the beautiful city of Reykjavik with Stefan! He provided a lot of great education about Iceland's history and government as well as showed us many areas of the city. He also gave some great restaurant recommendations.

Informative and Tasty

We loved our food tour with Robyn, she was an excellent guide and taught us much about the food and culture of Iceland. The places we stopped were all high quality and the food was excellent. The only reason I can’t give five stars is that the description states we end the tour with an Icelandic drink and there was none.

We went on the Sweet Tooth Tour, and Óli was amazing! He went above and beyond throughout our tour. He explained the significance of each of the items we were trying and answered all of our questions- sweet treat-related or not! While this is a group tour, our group of 3 were the only ones, and we basically got a Sweet Tooth Tour and walking tour of Reykjavík all in one! I cannot recommend Óli enough.

Not our favorite

Our tour guide was a very nice man, but he was hard to hear, lacked enthusiasm, and rambled. In addition, the tour started late, and the stops didn’t coincide with the tour description.

Great way to start our vacation in Reykjavik

Our walking tour of Reykjavik with Pauly the Viking was incredibly informative and engaging. It was a great way to get an overview of the city at the start of our vacation, while learning some history. Ending at the iconic Hallgrimskirkja was the perfect finale to a great experience.
