I loved that we were given such a fun informative tour of the city and meeting the sweet cats that live here. It included folklore stories of cats and history of the city. Our guide Bardi was so kind and interesting. It is a great way to see the city. It is very unique and for all ages especially animal lovers. We also really enjoyed the cat cafe and seeing Bardi’s cats he calls his own. Thank you so much. Meow!

Amazing Nordic History Lesson
Our guide whose name is loosely translated as “bear” gave us an amazing tour with a focus on the history of Iceland and the Vikings. Even though we have been on two Norway cruises we learned more about the history of the Norse people than what we got from the cruises. Bear customized our tour to meet our limited walking capabilities. This was an outstanding tour.

Great tour! Good food, loved the lamb/meat soup! The smoked lamb tartar and gravlax also very tasty, as was the lamb hot dog. The fermented shark was an interesting experience, probably a once in a lifetime thing to taste. Excellent guide!

Bjarni was an incredible host who is clearly very knowledgeable about Reykjavik and Icelandic culture. He is also hilarious! From the fabulous forest to the beautiful babbling brooks, the folklore walking tour was the perfect mix of magic and history to compliment our vacation. Strongly recommend for anyone looking to learn a little bit while getting their steps in.

This tour with Bjarni was so interesting and so informative of Icelandic mythical history! We learned so much about the tales and creatures of Iceland and saw some amazing sites around Reykjavik while doing so. Absolutely recommend this tour on the first couple of days of your trip to Iceland!

We had a very fun “Cats of Reykjavik” tour with Bardi yesterday! He was entertaining and introduced us to several of the famous Reykjavik kitties (Barkys, Nellgull, Ophelia). Our treats at the cat cafe were delicious and we loved meeting his “kids” at end.

Comprehensive Tour of Akureyri Area
Very comprehensive tour of the Akureyri area. The Diamond circle tour had several different geological formations, powerful waterfalls, coastal cliffs, and we saw some Puffins too. Our Icelandic tour guide Helga was excellent.
