Great way to meet cats!
As long as you understand what you’re getting into, this is a great tour! If you’re looking to meet, and have the opportunity to pet, a number of specific cats in Reykjavík, with some random historical facts that may or may not specifically relate to cats thrown in, this is the tour for you! We learned a bit of lore, met some cats, and saw parts of Reykjavík off the usual tourist path. Stefan I. was a great guide, very entertaining and good at locating cats.

Essential tour for understanding Iceland
The guide was amusing and informative. We learnt a lot about Iceland and had a fun afternoon. It certainly helped us to understand Iceland and what it’s like to live there. With the long periods of darkness and long periods of light, it is so different from many other parts of the world and it is very fascinating for us to hear how the Icelanders cope. This tour is a must for visitors who wish to have a deeper insight into Iceland.

An informative and enjoyable tour
Iceland is a very different and fascinating country. It was so interesting to understand what it is like for an Icelander to live there, and especially how to cope with the long days of light and the long days of darkness. The guide was funny and informative and he had a very relaxed and laid back manner. The tour is essential for anybody who wishes to understand Iceland on a deeper level.

Great overview of Reykjavik
Ths was a great overview of reykjavik smattered with some stories to add a little sark. Our tour guide even sang some traditiibal icelandic lullabies for us!

A great off the beaten path tour! It was fun to see all the famous shop cats and other cats along the way. The cat café was also cute. Our guide Stefan I. was chill and funny. We also got to hear about some Icelandic legends and other fun stories about cats.

Street Tour
The street tour was well organized and guide well versed. We learned about the cultured eats of a typical Icelander. Although the street parking was a challenge with only 3-hours in one place. I had to cut my tour short in order to get back to my parked vehicle and avoid getting a ticket.

Avoid this " City and Architecture Tour"; Its not about Architecture
This tour did not deliver on its stated aims, city and architecture tour. This was a history tour. Our guide, an older woman "Guna" (please excuse my spelling) talked to us 80%+ about history, even after 3 times I wanted to hear more about architecture, she is telling us about Erik the Red. She knew very, very little about architecture. Selling something and not delivering it is a fraud. You have been warned.

I had a great time on the food tour! Our tour guide, Magnus, was incredibly knowledgable about the area and we sampled some amazing cuisine. Bring your appetite - it was a lot of food!! A great way to experience Icelandic cuisine!

We went on a folklore tour with Your Friend in Reykjavik. Our guide was fantastic, funny, knowledgeable and delightful to spend the afternoon with. We really loved the program and all of the tales that he wove into the stories. We highly recommend this tour!

Hrafn was the most amazing tour guide! I enjoyed every moment of the Folklore tour. It was educational, mythical, and lots of laughs. It was absolutely worth it!

Wonderful tour and fond memories. Einar Steinn Valgarðsson was an excellent guide, introducing us to Reykjavik and showing us all of the important sites plus a wonderful history lesson. He is an excellent guide.

The cats of Reykjavík
Stephan I was wonderful! He told us a lot about Rekjavik, not just about cats. But of course the best part was meeting the beautiful kitties and learning about their lives… The cats were amazing!! And Stefan took good care of ma after I fell flat on my face!! (No serious injuries).
