Missed Experience a Disappointment

Was sent to the wrong square to meet group. The square name was like another’s. The wrong square matched the description, so thought we were in the right place. GPS map showed wrong one. Hotel concierge didn’t know there could be a mix up. No phone number that worked on the reservation. Text reminder, sent but no reply when we tried to communicate and catch up! Wish there was better contact information for problems. Disappointed.

I booked this trip on a last minute whim because of my son's love of cats. I had more fun than I ever expected! Bardi is a great tour guide. Finding the cats around town is fun, but it is Bardi's personality and stories that really makes this tour great. And you get a great walking tour while you are looking for felines!

I've done food tours around Europe, this was the best! Stefan was such a character, his theatrical skills are amazing. The food was delicious, but the way it was wrapped with stories, legends and historical facts made this tour special.

August is very passionate about the folklore, myths and legends of his country and kept us entertained with his stories. I've learned a lot and it was interesting.

Nice easygoing walk through Reykjavik with a knowledgeable guide with an unpronounceable Icelandic name. Showed us the high spots with stories about the early settlers, elves, trolls, and how Iceland got its independence.

Boring guide and very slow paced. We left the tour an hour early due to the guide. We always do walking tours when we travel but this was not for us.

Excellent overview of the city, history and primary things to see. Oli was an excellent guide keeping the pace and information perfect for a group that had just flown in that day. Town is very friendly and worked out well to cap the tour end with a round of drinks locally.

Great way to eat and learn

I was not sure about this excursion but am so glad we did this! It was great to try a lot of different foods and our guide taught us a lot about the Icelandic culture and history. I highly recommend!
