I enjoyed meeting people in group. Guide was knowledgeable however i wld have liked more history. We didnt finish at the church instead we ended up in a Icelandic tasting in the middle of town.

We just finished a private "Reyjavik Food Lovers Tour" with Robyn, and we had a wonderful time! Robyn was very knowledgeable on the origins of the traditional Icelandic foods, and what is driving new emerging Icelandic flavors and dishes. There was much food on the tour (more than we could complete) which offered flavors, aromas, and textures that were new to us. Thank you Robyn!

This was an excellent experience! Our storyteller connected Icelandic history and folklore to Icelandic culture as we see it today in such an engaging way. This is definitely an activity that I’d highly recommend.

We had a rainy evening and it was even more delightful than we could have hoped for! We had a private tour and the historic information, architecture and folklore made for an educational walk thru a beautiful place! 5 stars isn’t enough for Mathais- his knowledge and humor were refreshing and made the time go by too quickly! What an eclectic trip!

Thor was really knowledgeable and made the tour interesting! We tried all sorts of sweets and go the history about the places we went and the food we ate, it was delightful!

Great service!

Bo was wonderful! He was very knowledgable and was able to answer any questions we had and had a great sense of humor. We had chosen to see the Perlan Ice Caves and Bo did a great job of filling the remaining time. Each time I sent a message to Your Friend in Reykjavík, I received a timely response. The only thing I would change is I wish we could have spent another 2 or so hours with Bo and the city.

Fabulous Food Tour

Helgi took us for a food tour and it felt like a night out with a friend. His stories were informative and laced with his great sense of humour-and the food was wonderful! A taste of Iceland’s best, and since we went at the start of our trip we had ideas on what to order over our holiday. This is a walking tour through downtown Reykjavik, and Helgi told fascinating stories about the history and lore of Iceland and the city as we went along. Highly recommended this tasty trip-hope you get to to it with Helgi!

Didn’t expect to be ridiculed for my Christian faith during this outing especially since we are Lutheran and the main attraction in Reykjavik is the Lutheran Church.

We really enjoyed this outing. We hit all the main attractions. Lots of walking involved - up and down hills and steps. Our guide was very soft spoken so it was hard to hear him at times hence the 4 stars
