Hrafu our "Friend in Reykjavik" took us on a wonderful 2 hour+ tour with wonderful stories which made the history come alive. I would highly recommend this walking tour and especially the Raven(Hrafu). He also told us quite a few places to eat and places we should check out even further. Thank you Hrufu!!

Anna was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and made the entire Blue Lagoon experience effortless. She even walked us in, guided us through everything we needed to know, and stayed with us the whole time, which was such an added bonus. It made the visit so much more enjoyable and stress-free. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide—highly recommend!

I had a wonderful time on the folklore tour with Mathias as our guide. He has a funny way of telling spooky stories and made time for us to ask questions. Highly recommend if you're interested in hearing some Icelandic sagas about the hidden people but also if you want see more of Reykjavik it's a nice tour. Thanks again Mathias!

I did the craft beer tour with Chris on my very first day in Iceland, and it was such a fun way to start my trip. As a solo traveler, it helped me get my bearings in downtown Reykjavík while also getting a taste (literally) of the local beer and food scene. Chris was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us a great mix of history, culture, and recommendations. The atmosphere was relaxed and social — I even met a few people that I ended up seeing again later in my trip. If you like beer, want to explore some great local spots, or just want a quick, coordinated way to experience Reykjavík, I can’t recommend this enough. Perfect for solo travelers and groups alike.

The tour was good with a variety of foods. You better go hungry! I would have liked smaller portions because we all filled up quickly. Our guide was very nice, lots of stories and information. I would recommend a food tour to anyone going to Iceland for the first time.

We arranged a four hour tour/ transfer from our ship to the airport. Our guide/driver was great. He was very informative about the area and the people of Iceland. We particularly liked his tour of Grindavik—the town evacuated a couple of years ago because of a volcanic eruption. We loved this tour.

Paul was a great guide! He showed us more than just restaurants and explained some of the history. The food was unique and we were happy with the selection. As a vegetarian I had something to eat at every location. Honestly, this was a great start to our trip because we got some tips from Paul and got a nice lay of the land since it was a walking tour! Highly recommend, Paul was awesome.

The male guide was drinking beer and talking so enthusiastically that I hated the spit getting into my food. I tried to avoid the plates, but it didn't really help.He should be more considerate of infectious diseases. I wanted to hear more about each dish, but he mostly talked about other things. Also I was disappointed that I was only given tiny pieces of shark. I wanted to ask questions about the food, but the solo performance left absolutely no chance for me, and I ended up tiring myself out. It felt more like he was putting on a show of his own rather than guiding us. It was the worst food tour I've ever been on. The guide for the 11:30 tour, which I was originally supposed to join, sent me lots of photos of the friendly atmosphere during the tour. I feel it's a bit strange to offer tours for the same price when there is such a big difference between guides. I would like there to be some consistency in the quality of not only the menu, but also the explanations and photography.

Our tour guy was wonderful! Not only did he share food information but got us acquainted with the culture and lifestyle of the local people. Will gladly recommend everyone take this tour the first day you arrive!!

Matthias made the trolls and elves come to life on a rainy day in Reykjavik on Tuesday. Only 3 people in the party but this meant that there was more banter between us. Matthias has a nice easy style of delivery which added to the enjoyment of his story telling. Time passed really quickly which is always a sign that we were engrossed in the tales of Iceland. Worth the money.
