Had an absolute blast this weekend kayaking with my friends down the river. I haven’t kayaked since I was a kid and was super worried I’d hold everyone back. But this river was very easy to navagate and it’s quick to remember how to move around the oar.it was a great bachelorette adventure. And the winery was great too!

Enjoyed a relaxing paddle down the river. Super chill! Our guide was young Jesus and he shared great information that enhanced the whole experience. As a bonus he had the best strawberries at the take out point. Thank you!

My wife and I had a blast! Thanks to: YJ, Ben, Kelly & another lady who's name escapes me (Sorry). Went on the peddle & paddle guided tour that starts with a E-Bike ride around the Alcantara property. Then a shuttle bus ride to a launching point up the river for the kyaks. A 1.5hr float that then ends at the Alcantara winery beach property. The bike tour was informative. YJ made sure we understood how the bikes work. Did a quick test ride before starting the tour proper. As we made our way around to the different points of interest YJ provided information about the grapes, the property and even some local history from around the area. We also were provided secret peeks into the backrooms of the wine making process. While we enjoyed this I don't think it was a necessary addition to they Kayak float. Kayaking the Verde. A quick bus ride over to the boat launch was filled with some of the same information provided during the bike tour, which was fine, although very summarized comparatively. We were given an entertaining instructional speech before launching into the water. Once on the river and after getting our bearing on how to use the kayaks my wife and I were basically alone from the rest of the people in our group. We leisurely floated alongside each other through playful ripples and near still areas of the river. We kept our eyes open for wild life beyond water bugs, dragonflies and we found plenty. Evidence of Beaver activity including half eaten trees, Turtles sun bathing, Buzzing bees on cliff sides and a Deer. As for difficulty, the river posed no trouble for complete amateurs, it's not very deep nor fast flowing. Trust me you'll have a good time.

We had SO much fun! Scot & Young Jesus were super informative & had the best personalities, and Burrito became my fast friend! Our group had a great time, the water was high, the sun was up & smiles/laughter was all around! Definitely encourage anyone interested in doing something like this, to do so!

My friends and I had the BEST time on the river! It was our first time at this spot, and it turned out to be such a fun and adventurous day. Everything was super organized, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free. The team running it was not only professional but also incredibly friendly — they truly made us feel welcome from start to finish. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

From start to finish, this company was amazing. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We’re from out of town and we’re a little late and they were so accommodating. The instructor, Matthew, was the absolute best. He was funny, informative, and super nice with answering all the questions my group had. I highly recommend this place. Ryan helped us push off and pull us in before and after the float itself.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The guide that took us up to the start of the river was so nice and so much fun. When we got done, the guy waiting to help us out was so professional. The river and views is stunning. Not too crazy but still small rapids to make it so much fun for any age. We will definitely be doing this again!

Our guide, Matthew was great. Deep knowledge & insights about the area, and a good sense of humor. Kayaking the river was so much fun, and the wine at the end of our float really hit the spot.

We really enjoyed the relaxing trip down the river! My husband and I met three new friends and we stayed with them for the entire trip. We are accustomed to kayaking much swifter waters but this was a lazier trip. We did the kayaks, along with one of our new friends and the other two floated. Will definitely do this trip again!

Our group did the self guided tour and it was easy to navigate. We had alot of fun and would highly recommend this to those looking to do something active yet relaxing in AZ!

Sucha fun experience. The river and surroundings were picturesque. Plenty of wildlife to see. The crew were super polite and easy going. Highly recommend.

My group did the water to wine tour and had so much fun! We were running a little late, and they were accommodating. Also had a whole process lined up to make it so convenient to us. Would definitely recommend!
