The Verde River is so beautiful and peaceful and brimming with bird life and dramatic views. Matthew and Scott were very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great time and highly recommend!

This was a great kayaking trip. The scenery was amazing. Young Jesus, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant and a real gift. The equipment was well maintained and in great condition. We are definitely going to do this again. Highly recommend.

Our party of 9 Besties had done this tour 10years ago and had to do it again on our trip back to Sedona. It is spectacular and so much fun! We went to the winery as well , which was delicious! We loved the wine and food

The water to wine tour was fantastic. The river is beautiful and relaxing, the winery is charming, and the wine is excellent. Ben the proprietor provided much useful and interesting information about the river and the surrounding areas, and he does it in a most entertaining way. Highly recommended.

We did Tubing Madness and it was really fun and a great way to do something outdoors when it gets too hot to hike! Definitely wear a lot of sunscreen because there’s not a lot of shade in the first half of river. We also really loved the $10 food and drink voucher that came with each tube, the wine and pizza were delicious!

The river float was epic! The water was refreshing, the views were spectacular, guide was knowledgeable, and the accommodations were effiencient and easy; you just show up, take a shuttle ride and get in your kayak and go, ending at your car. Couldn't have been better! We saw a ton of hummingbirds along with a lot of other birds and hawks. Scott A. gave us some great local knowledge on our buss ride up, made sure we were comfortable and prepared in the kayak, and met us at the end a few hours later. 10/10 would do again!

We had a great time kayaking the Verde River. “Jesus” picked us up on time, gave us thorough instructions and shared a little history with us on the ride to the drop in point. The river itself was pretty and had some easy rapids to navigate. The in between points you floated so easily you could take a nap if you wanted to! Definitely recommend!

Great day! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Booking was a breeze. My only complaint, and it’s NOT the business’s fault, is the lack of moisture in AZ. Super slow moving water for the last part, but I knew that would be the case going in. Would definitely do this again.

Absolutely perfect experience. Great crew--helpful, funny, happy! We did the 'sporty and sweet' kayak trip and it was amazing. I am 24 weeks pregnant so was worried about what conditions would be and asked way too many questions. The crew was so responsive to tests and so incredibly patient with me. Safe to say this is a lovely, relaxing, float down a calm shallow river. You can set your own pace and either paddle faster for fun or do like I did and let the river guide me and push off rocks or trees as I encountered them. You begin and end the tour at the beautiful Alacantra vineyards and that makes for a lovely afternoon. The day we went had live music, great flatbread pizzas and of course wine! If you're in Sedona area and looking for a break from hiking or just a relaxing way to spend the day, book this trip! You won't regret it!

Verde Adventures is a must do if your in the area or on vacation. John and his staff were amazing to work with. He provided great advice for handling the kayaks, giving us info on the area and just a fun guy. Highly recommend!

We had a great time kayaking on the Verde River with Verde River adventures! The route was safe and fun for our family with 2 kids. All staff we knowledgeable and kind! We definitely recommend this for anyone visiting the Sedona area and wants to add to water adventure to their vacation!

Had a fantastic holiday weekend floating down the Verde! Was nice to relax with friends and Matthew took good care of us from the bus ride all the way down to the river and back up again!

we had an awesome day on the river and the following wine tasting. i loved all the sites and winding of the river and the rapids. we had a blast, and if we're back in arizona, we will definitely enjoy this again!
