Product: From Cottonwood: 2-Hour Water to Wine Kayak Tour
Such a great experience to adventure with this company. Ben was especially informative and helpful with a first time kayaker. Thanks Ben!! We were truly lucky with great weather and the additional bonus of the meal being extra delicious and the wine afterwards was the cherry on top! So kind and welcoming all around.

My husband and I had a wonderful River to Rosé trip with Verde Adventure River Trips. It was very well organized and our guide Matthew was knowledgable about the area and very helpful. The trip down the river was quiet and peaceful, and it was great we could go at our own pace. Matthew was waiting for us when we go out of the river, and we headed to the Salt River Winery. They so accommodating and welcoming. The sandwiches were great, and we were amazed we liked all the wines. I couldn’t recommend this trip and the winery more!!

Ok, this is an amazing way to spend the day. We hit it for Valentine's Day, and it was perfect. Could not ask for better weather, river had a lot of water. Rapids were fun, exhilarating, yet you never felt in danger (most of the river is only waist deep or so). Granted, if you are a whitewater type, it may not work for you, but for Joe and Jane Average, you will have a blast! Lots of rapids, slow areas to catch your breath, approximately 1.5 hours of river time. Heading over to the tasting room afterwards, sit outside, sunshine, wine, live music, surrounded by vineyard. Pizza and caprese were magnificent. About an hour and a half from Phoenix, grab your girl or guy and go! Shout out to the Host With The Most, Mr Scot Armstrong, aka Young Jesus! You made a great day for us!

The highlight of our girls trip… we learned that kayaking and wine tasting is the absolute best combo!! Such a fun day trip from Sedona and way to work our arms after all the hiking leg days. Scoty was a wonderful guide that made us feel looked after while giving us plenty of time and space to explore! Highly highly recommend this adventure and addition the wine tasting at salt mine bc it was incredible!!!

Four of us made our way down the river with a self guided tour. Two of us were a little nervous but Scoty was great giving instructions and walking us through the process. He was on the shore along the route and took some pics and videos for us! It was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. River was calm enough for us because it was February. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic kayak adventure and can’t recommend this company enough. We were especially grateful that our guide, Matthew, joined us—his knowledge was invaluable for navigating the small rapids, which weren’t intimidating but added just the right amount of fun and adventure. He was also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and we enjoyed learning from him along the way. Thoughtful extras like waterproof pant coverings and oar mittens (at no extra cost!) was much appreciated as our river day was chilly. Also bonus that they take pictures and provide them for free. We also LOVED the followup wine tasting at Salt Mine Wine which was part of the River to Rose package. They were incredibly welcoming and the package included the wine tasting, sandwiches, and charcuterie. The wine was delicious. We bought 4 bottles that didn’t last through the weekend!

So much fun! Scott and Sara were great tour guides. The kayak ride down the verde river was perfect bc it had fun rapids and great views. Highly recommend

Amazing time on the river! Emily and Scot were so wonderful and knowledgeable. It was the perfect time of year to get on the water. Sandwiches and wine afterwards were top notch! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Read the fine print. They will keep your money no matter what. Day was rained out completely and everyone else canceled or rescheduled. They kept our money offered us a gift card. We live on the east coast. Not a great business practice to steal from tourists trying to enjoy their vacation. Would not reccomend based off the desperate money hungry vibe. Sedona was great though!
