The experience was wonderful. A beautiful way to celebrate my wife's birthday with another couple. Emily was a great guide, very friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. Equipment was in great shape. 3 miles of kayaking the Verde river, and we could take it multiple times. It's a very beautiful, relaxing ride. We even saw and photographed a horned owl. The finish was superb too. Ample credits at the winery for merch, food, or wine (or combo thereof). Great wines. Amazing white wine sangria. Great ambience with live entertainment. Definitely going again. And again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Amazing Adventure with Matthew at Verde Adventures! We had such an incredible time with Matthew as our guide at Verde Adventures! From the moment we arrived, he made the experience fun, relaxed, and full of laughs — he’s really funny and kept us entertained the whole way down the river. The scenery along the Verde River was absolutely gorgeous — peaceful stretches of water surrounded by stunning landscapes. Matthew shared interesting facts about the area and made sure we felt comfortable and confident on the water. The whole experience was so much fun from start to finish, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re heading out with Verde Adventures, definitely ask for Matthew — he’ll make your trip unforgettable!

Great experience. Traveling with my daughters, first time kayakers, and it couldn't have been better. Knowledgeable guide, everything was exactly as advertised. The river was pretty low and slow today, which was perfect for us. Just enough ruffles to keep it interesting. Will definitely book again if we're in the area.

This is our second time using this company for a kayak trip. Both times staff has been very playful, informative and helpful. We also had to reschedule due to rain and they were super flexible.

What an amazing experience! Beautiful weather, perfect time of year to go! Emily, our guide, was the best! She set up everything for us and explained everything so well! And then, we got to go out on our own. :) We had the river to ourselves.. we went 3 times. It was relaxing and so much FUN!

12 friends got together from Tucson to have an adventure along the Verde River. Thanks to Emily and Matthew for making it a day we will never forget. They were organized, humorous and added to our fun-filled day. Highly recommend.

We had the best time on our Inflatable Kayak Adventure, and couldn't recommend it enough to others. Our guide Scot was an absolute gem - making our group feel comfortable with the experience and made a great day even better with their expertise and fun energy!

My wife and I had a beautiful and peaceful self guided tour down the Verde River that ended with a very relaxing wine tasting at Alcantara Vineyards. We thought we would have a guide on the river with us so we were surprised when we were told we'd be on our own, but honestly, it was better that way and Matthew did a great job explaining the route to make sure we didn't get lost and was super helpful getting us in and out of the water. Highly recommend the adventure!

A serene and peaceful river float in the midst of a desert. Truly a marvelous experience. Mostly calm waters with brief bursts of “rapids” lends itself to an overall easy float with moments of excitement. Our host, Emily was friendly, informative and helpful. Don’t skip Alcantera vineyard at the end. We enjoyed our flight at the winery so much that we took a bottle home. We went in mid October on a Monday and had the river completely to ourselves. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience kayaking down the river with Ben!! He was very detailed about explaining what to expect in advance and was super knowledgeable about the wildlife and scenery as we were floating. He also kept us laughing the whole trip with his quick wit. Highly recommend!
