This was such a fun amazing morning, Ben our guide was so great and hilarious. He made the day super stress free and helped us with anything we needed. 100% worth the price and the drive out there, I was an actual blast!

This is the 2nd time we did this Verde River kayaking tour. It’s a blast! My teenagers really enjoyed it too. Overall, this is a very easy adventure. You can almost float the entire trip if you like. The mild rapids add a little excitement. Our Guide, Young Jesus, was great! He told us about the history of the area on the drive to the starting point. He was also waiting for us at the end & helped by pulling in the kayaks. We highly recommend this adventure!

We scheduled a day ahead for 12pm kayak adventure & arrived between 10-15 min early. Everyone is kind, the text conversations were clear informative & had Scotty’s flair(which is fun & peaceful) Kelly & Ann pleasantly welcomed us & were nice smiles in our presence. We were not rushed(we like to go with the flow) & probably made it into the water around 12:30-1pm. Scotty made clear the basics & offered sound advice. Laying in the kayak is the way...thanks buddy! We found beautiful places to get out the kayaks, sit with the serene nature & take in its glory. Unless your familiar with an area it’s pretty inevitable to get caught up in some of the shallow rocky areas however, Scotty’s scoot N’ kick move really made it a breeze & my tummy muscles got a nice little workout. The little rapids can really be a blast of a switch up while drifting around the otherwise calm river (especially if you close your eyes) We took the sweet time we had & really enjoyed our experience. Feeling for the ‘deeper’ areas with the paddle before going for a swim or dip helped avoid bumping any rocks when slowly making our way into the water for that cleansed & refreshed feel. Of course soaking in the warm rays of the sun was necessary for me to warm up after the soak but I’m pretty warm blooded anyhow. Anyone looking for a fun, peaceful, relaxing & with a little physical effort day experience on the water with some fun little rapids along the way should be able to feel the joy within themselves amongst this experience. I hope your experience is as delightful or more so than our was! They say the float is around an 1.5-2hr we ended about 4pm so maybe we spent around 3-3.5hrs total on the water. This was our third trip and we loved it as much as the first. Always nice to be on the river when the weather is hot. Ben was there with the boats and is great to get you going on the water with everything you need to safely enjoy the trip.

Everything was amazing! Our guide, Ben, was super knowledgeable and fun. He gave practical kayaking pointers to make sure we were safe and had fun, without information overload. It made the trip so care free; not worrying about trying to remember everything and kayak perfectly. He also checked in a few times to make sure everyone had enough water and made sure everyone was well aware of the intended river route. The sangria and pizza at the end were good too! Highly recommend!!!

Me and my 14 yo grandson had a blast. There was another family with kids as well. An amazing afternoon on the River. The kids even caught some frogs on the beach. Ben was great too.

Scot was a great e-bike and kayak guide! We saw a black hawk catch a fish, a mule deer, and many cool rocks. He gave us fun suggestions to do during our time here, answered all of our questions, and it was fun to ride around with him.

John was extremely experienced in kayaking, local history, and wildlife in the area. He shared about these things on the way to the river access site. My family and I had a wonderful time and would recommend the self guided tour. Thanks John!!

This was a very fun kayak trip on the Verde River today full of flat water, riffles, corners, and rocks! The scenery is beautiful with river otters, ducks, song birds, and turtles. Our shuttle driver/expert river man John was great! I will do it again and bring my family! Jackie V
