We really appreciate how clean, friendly, and fun our kayaking experience was. Matthew Wolff had a great sense of humor! He and Emily made sure we felt confident and safe sharing all detailed we needed before we set off. Our family had an awesome time with the kayaks on the river. Ben was prepared, kind, funny, and shared interesting facts about the area! He also gave great advice on using the kayaks and we all felt great taking them down the river. Our kids are 13, 11, & 9 - we rented 4 of the regular adult kayaks and one smaller one which worked out great. The water was flowing nicely after having some rain in the days before we went, a couple of areas with quicker water but mostly a steady calm flow. Will definitely book again!

My boyfriend and I did the inflatable kayaking trip and had an amazing experience! Our guide, Scoty Armstrong (aka “Young Jesus”), was awesome from start to finish. He made us feel welcome right away and gave us a great rundown of what to expect on the river, how to use the equipment properly, and even shared interesting history about the area. His energy, knowledge, and clear communication made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Scoty is definitely an asset to your team — we had a wonderful time thanks to him!

Such a perfect all around experience! My mom and I went for my mom’s birthday and we cheersed to the perfect getaway at the vineyard :) Matthew was our guide for the water to wine experience and he was great both with directions and jokes! The kayaking was the perfect mix of sport and relaxation, and then to top it off with live music and a wine flight? Couldnt have asked for anything better. The ladies working at the vineyard were great as well - we walked out with 2 bottles of the 2022 chardonnay ;) we’re definitely coming back for another excursion!

Our trip was great. Reserving was easy. Scott, our shuttle driver, who was kind, charismatic, and full of fun, punny facts about the region sent detailed instructions the day or two before for parking and what to bring. Water was low in spots (July) but we were not deterred because Scott had shown us how to scoot in our inflatable (and comfortable) kayaks. Scott even helped with a photo finish.

The trip was very fun!!! We had the best time ever!!! It was such a blast floating in a nice calm river! We will definitely come back next time!!!

Matthew was fantastic! The water was a bit low and made us get stuck often. I would recommend going when the river is higher.

Great way to beat the heat on a hot day! Emily was a great guide, very thorough. Inflatable kayaks were sturdy and durable. Follow on wine tasting at Alcantara was a nice way to finish up the day!

We had an awesome experience floating the Verde River with Verde Adventure River Trips. The river was a little shallow but the company was amazing. Matthew was a great start to the trip. Informational and comical!

What a great excursion! Sarah was a wonderful yoga instructor. She somehow balanced challenge with relaxation. She made us feel secure and comfortable while learning something new. The temperature of the Verde River is the perfect way to beat the summertime heat!
