Fantastic float. We went early in the season (very end of March) and practically had the river to ourselves. No need to get in the water that time of year so we just lived our best lives floating down the river. We saw turtles, birds, fish..... The weather was beautiful and the drop off/ pick up process was very easy. I live in Flagstaff and recommend this float to friends and family that come visit.

My group and I had a wonderful experience with the SUP Yoga session with Wine tasting at Alcontara! Thanks to the team on the water and Sara, our instructor and guide. It was a challenge but she gave us options that fit everyone’s comfort level! Thanks Team!!

Trip went flawlessly and the Verde River didn't disappoint! John was very informative. Super interesting guy who knows more than anyone could expect about anything Verde valley and or river rafting. He talked about local history, River dynamics, kayak control techniques as well as pitfalls - and all with a sense of humor.

It was a very peaceful, enjoyable day out on (and in) the water for myself and four adult children. Matthew was friendly and humorous on the shuttle drive to the drop off point and clearly explained what to expect and watch for, so we would know where to exit the river. The staff members at the ending point welcoming you back to shore were also very friendly despite the fact that we were the last to arrive back having spent some extra time out on the water enjoying the day. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was due to the cost. I thought it was a tad bit overpriced for a 10 minute shuttle ride and tube float, and the $10 credit for food and wine at the vineyard is automatically added in whether you want it or not. However, it was convenient and we enjoyed ourselves.

Nicolette & Scotty were great and the person checking us in was so friendly! We kayaked down the river and ended with a nice wine tasting at the Alcantara Vineyards. Everyone was just great! Highly recommend!

My family had a great time tubing. Everything was well organized and everyone working there was friendly. I would definitely recommended it to anyone who will be in the area and looking for some fun outdoors.

Being one that has toured the salt river many times tubing and paddleboarding a friend and I decided our trip to Cottonwood would have to include a Verde Adventure River tubing trip. What a great, peaceful, dare I say, not overcrowded, relaxing, beautiful, CLEAN, and cooler way to spend a few hours. I am already planning return trips with other guest visiting. Staff was relaxed, joyful, and having fun along with us made it even more enjoyable. Thank so much for adding value to our stay. ❤️

Anne was super friendly and helpful getting our group of ten set up for the tube float. Misty did a great job of driving/prepping us for the river. Our entire group hand a great time!

We had 7 in our group and had a wonderful time. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They give a great presentation on what to look for and how to make sure you are safe on the water. The tubes are quality and can hold various body types. Make sure you bring sunscreen and apply multiple times. We will defiantly do this trip again!

Had an absolutely fantastic time! A couple girlfriends and I booked this adventure for the 4th and couldn’t have been more pleased. Ben and John were fabulous guides with a wealth of knowledge and insight. We were lucky enough to have them come down the river with us. Outside of the refreshing conversation the experience itself is beautiful. It had rained the day before so the water was sitting higher and a bit faster adding to the enjoyment. Easy to follow instruction and a spiritual experience connecting in nature. I would highly recommend kayaking with this company to anyone who asks.

We had a great time traveling the river. We loved that you could go your own pace and not feel rushed. Make sure to take a quick dip in the river as they load up your kayak. It was so refreshing and we loved the changing rooms for afterwards. We highly recommend this experience!
