Had a fun experience at Houston zoo , I got to see a Lion from up close , and a Girrafe , it was insane. I had a blast the only thing that made this visit unbearable was the heat but other than that it is definitely a place I’d go when it gets cooler

This is a great zoo for all ages. From 2 years to adult. Lots of shady areas and the animals were very active and even playful. The whole zoo was clean and the workers were professional and helpful. This zoo is definitely a full day or 2 day excursion. Its so large and expansive. Lots of places to buy souvenirs and we went during the Mythical Realms, exhibit and it was very fun and a colder part of the park due to all the trees. Would recommend for any family who enjoy animals.

Great zoo. Just walking under all the amazing trees is quite an experience. Very good animal displays with water features and shade to make the experience feel wild.

My viet wife thinks we should have gotten discount due to construction and closed or missing exhibits or animals but still enjoyed seeing the caged animals

Maybe it was the heat but we didn't see many of the animals. Plus it was kinda sad. Animals in cages isn't as entertaining as one thought it would be. At least not for me. And if you can, take your own everything. A bottle of water is 6.49. No joke. So all it all, it was okay. But I doubt I'll be going back.

Ticket prices are obnoxious. I go to zoos all over the country normal flat pricing. Dynamic pricing, extraction culture. Skip on principle.
