soooo many animals either be put up or asleep... one thing that really bothered me was the dots ice cream. their picture shows a nice size cup for 10 bucks and they bust out this lil kiddie cup. then she said for the regular size I'll fill it just half way, I was like what the....

Love the zoo. Head to gibbon exhibit ASAP. Baby gibbon was adorable and the highlight of my day.

I loved the layout of the Houston Zoo, they have some unique aquariums that I've never even experienced before at other AQUARIUMS. The park itself was clean and within proximity of the parking lot, very low traffic area meaning you can walk across the parking lot easily. The staff was genuinely very attentive, there were some booths for drinks/snacks that just took way too long to get your goods. Great experience, I'm eager to see more of this Zoo in the future as more enclosures become available!
