Houston Zoo is amazing. Plan accordingly. Its a big place. You can bring your own cooler...... a little secret. They do have really good options though when it comes to food and beverages. Plenty of water stations. The intersection with animals is anywhere from a couple of feet and six inches of glass. Get there early parking can be tough. Overall great experience.

Horrible, I don't recommend it. Two children and two adults paid $186. Very few animals, most enclosures were empty, they charge exorbitant prices, and all you really do is walk around without seeing any animals. I will demand a refund. I'm not going back, the place looks neglected.
