The Houston Zoo is absolutely worth visiting! It is beautifully maintained, well organized, and has an impressive variety of animals and exhibits. The habitats feel thoughtfully designed, with plenty of space and excellent viewing areas, and the entire zoo is very clean and easy to navigate. We especially enjoyed the Galápagos Islands exhibit, which is incredibly well done and definitely one of the highlights of the zoo. The staff were friendly and helpful, and you can tell there is a strong focus on animal care, conservation, and education. A great experience in Houston and an excellent place to spend a few hours. Highly recommended for both adults and families!

Just rode ebikes with my baby girls about midnight all around the zoo and local parks nearby. Baby girl is 8 and my oldest girl is 10, their were plenty of rabbits for them to chase and plenty of ducks to feed...splash pads were in n for a lil cool off...we had a blast

This is by far one of the best zoos I've been to. With their new additions, it's definitely got a lot going for it. They've got tons of new animals and it's very informational. The staff here is super friendly always. I recommend eating before or after getting here though lol. It's like school cafeteria food (obv not a restaurant so no stars taken)

They let the giraffes stay out in pouring rain, they were running around, bucking, trying to get away from the rain, the doors to their barn were closed the whole time. One giraffes was out in the open area by his self and the rest were in the holding pen. Pitiful shame.....

Super amazing zoo, the staff really seem invested in the animals care. Its a little warm out right now so not all animals were out which is OK, im glad they have ac too!

Definitely one of my favorite zoos in the country. They’ve got a bunch of animals ranging from spiders and snakes to jellyfish and lion fish. I had a great time at the zoo. I recommend it

It was cool super expensive but what could you expect right😂 it was a cool experience and got our photo taken by a photographer. Definitely something you should go to at least once while in Houston.
