It's open until 9 PM right now for holidays. Lots of lights , pumpkins , activities for the children very worthwhile. I recommend to go with family and friends yall definitely have lots of fun.

If you’re a Houstonian, the membership is almost pointless if you can only make it on the weekends. Got there at 9:30 with the fam, parking lot was chaotic and filled up. No one was there to manage the lots or open the overflow lot across the street. There was a guy tweaking walking across the lot when there were families walking. Even if I got there earlier and got a spot, I’m not sure dealing with the traffic in the park would be worth it as it gets overcrowded quickly inside the zoo. It’s a cool zoo if you’re visiting for the first time in Houston, but you might want to visit during the week. I would say they should build a garage but I’m sure the park will charge for parking if that were to happen.

Very nice zoo and one of the biggest zoos I have been too. It's also right by all of the medical buildings and hospitals.
