It was very fun and stimulating. I felt educated and appreciative of the world around me more when I left. The vegetation and scenery are vibrant and made me feel like I was in the wild. The elephant looked right at me. I enjoyed the experience.

Most amazing time at the zoo, everyone was polite, smiling and helpful. 1 of the Gorillas was rude and kept his back to me but otherwise everyone else was wonderfully hospitable. A most Awesome visit giving my daughter and I memories and stories to share.

We absolutely love the zoo, the cost is a tad bit out of our budget on a regular, so we take full advantage of the Free First Tuesday of every month. They have renovated, added, and is currently renovating and adding exhibits. I can't wait until it's l done. There are lions, and tigers, and bears! And lemurs and sea lions, and penguins, and elephants and reptiles, and bugs and EVERYTHING!! Go to the Houston Zoo website and look for the free ticket Tuesdays if its a little too expensive for you as well, or if you can afford it on a regular day, I recommend going!

Be prepared, $46 per person and up to get in, Wow way over priced for what they offer. Everything extra is more money money money... Half of the exhibits are missing throughout the park. Over crowded and construction going on inside the park. Parking is harindess so be prepared to walk! We felt ripped off, never returning again!

Love Houston zoo! Parking is so easy and convenient and just a short walk to the entrance. Very stroller friendly and so many bathrooms and water fountains everywhere. The playground is amazing and such a great break for the kids. My toddler couldn't have had a better time!

Pretty nice, very crowded, The one thing is.. THERE.IS.ALWAYS.A.FIELD.TRIP. And im not even joking there is a new place to eat. A BURGER FOR 60 bucks 😭
