This was my sons first visit at the Houston zoo, I would say my son loved it but would recommend using a map or else you miss on a whole lot, also check the weather because tickets are non refundable even if it's raining. ☺️

I've always enjoyed going to the Houston Zoo! Today, I had the opportunity to take my family to the Mythical Creatures exhibit at the Houston Zoo. It was so cool! Many of the creatures in the exhibit were animatronic and moved around. My wife, toddler, friends, and I had such a great time. I recommend taking your family to this zoo because you will definitely have a great time seeing the animals and walking around. If you get the opportunity to go to the Mythical Creatures exhibit, I highly recommend that as well.

Family fun with lots of space to walk to each exhibit unlike other zoos where exhibits and attraction are so close right after the other. New additions are being made for 2027, our favorite highlights were the elephants, the sea otter tunnel, and the penguins!

I came to Houston for vacation and to see my sis for her day. I wanted to do something with her and my neice and nephew. So we did the zoo. Its alot of walking but it was awesome. The kids had fun, we had fun, soo many animals it took us about 2hrs. It was well worth it. Purchase tickets in advance.

I realize now why I don’t bother coming back here- bought tickets on my phone with limited visibility thinking 10-5 were the hrs but after buying I see an event is causing the zoo to close early. No refund and no one cares- full price for half value in this economy. No thanks, I’ll remember for the future and continue to not go to the zoo. I regret having the idea and should have spent the money at a water park or Galveston instead
