We weren't able to make it inside at all.. we drove around the parking lot for an hour and 20 minutes and couldn't find parking. We drove through the big and small lots that are nearby, a few spots opened, but so many people were looking for spots they were taken quickly. Parking is definitely an issue. This would have been our second time at this zoo, and we had trouble with parking the first time too, although it only took us about 30 mins the first time and we ended up finding a spot as someone was pulling out. Considering the size and the ongoing parking issue, I wish more was done. Maybe a parking garage or maybe some type of parking monitor. People were parked in the yellow lined areas also which made driving lanes even more difficult to drive through because it was extra congested. When I eventually found someone packing up their car, I turned on my blinker and she came to my windows and told me she was holding the spot for someone already cause they followed her over to her car from the exit...? So my car was blocked from that spot.. I'm not one to fight over parking so I let it go but the parking is insane and a definite issue. I was super bummed that I drove from Montgomery, an hour and a half car ride with my 2 children and their grandmother to go to the zoo, only to drive around an overcrowded parking lot for another hour and a half before we finally gave up and went back home because we couldn't find parking.

We had so much fun. Luckily, we were able to get the First Tuesday free tickets. The greenery and trees of the park made it feel very immersive of being in the wild. Everything was very well kept. The exhibits were also very fun and seemed very spacious for the animals. I would love to go again soon!
