The workers/zookeepers are all very knowledgeable about the animals and love having conversation! Everyone was so nice. The exhibits are really nice and big

Getting the membership is extremely worth it if you have a large family or plan on going more than twice a year. I love that you can bring your own food. Biggest complaint is parking... give yourself time to find a spot or arrive early

The Zoo is very walkable, very eye appealing, clean, neat, and organized. The entry is very modern and includes the ability to buy tickets online and by scanning a QR code. The same goes for renting a stroller. This made things quick and seamless. Parking was a bit tricky as the zoo parking lot is shared with a local park. The fountain, café at the entrance, pond lined with oak trees make the zoo feel like a very nice park. The animals were chill. I went in January of 2026, so it was warm, but the animals were just hanging out. Overall, it was a very nice zoo and experience.

VERY IMPRESSED WITH ALL THE UPDATES TO THE HABITATS. THE GALAPAGOS EXHIBIT WAS SUPER. THE ELEPHANTS WERE AMAZING.

We drove over and hour and couldn't find a parking spot so we never got to go on. Big disappointment.

Went on a Tuesday, just me and my husband. Not crowded at all and it was a beautiful 60 overcast day. Was able to see everything within 2 1/2 hrs. Very clean and almost every exhibit had someone there where you could ask any additional questions about the animals.

Very clean and a good variety of animals. I recommend seeing the garages and elephants.

So much to do I felt like we didn’t see everything here. The sea lion tunnel was an experience I have yet to find anywhere else. As a longtime member to the San Antonio zoo, I’d have to say that this zoo has way more to offer.
