Had a blast at the zoo! Monkeys are my favorite and I brought the whole family. Kids had a blast in some of the play areas and the facts posted on the displays were super informative. Thinking about doing my son’s birthday party next year here. Even saw an awesome tiger while I was there not sure what kind it was but it was cool!

The zoo itself is pretty cool only issue is the parking if you can Uber or use public transport

I was with my 2 oldest boys, wives and 1 baby girl each. Got a good walk in enjoyed the zoo and surroundings after finally getting a parking spot 15 minutes away.

Visited on free Tue day. Wasn't terrible like before, better organized but the parking was still horrible! Go super early!

Houston Zoo is a really nice place to visit, especially if you don’t want something overly huge or exhausting. The zoo is not very large, and we were able to explore it comfortably within about 3 hours, which felt more than enough for us. What I really liked is how the zoo is divided into specific areas, such as sections for aquatic life and fish, and other environmentally friendly exhibits. There is also a separate kids’ activity area, which is great for families. Children can interact with animals like goats and cattle, which makes the experience more engaging and memorable for them. We saw elephants, flamingos, lions, monkeys, gorillas, and many other animals. Although there weren’t as many animals as shown in the introduction, the overall experience was still very pleasant. The environment is clean, organized, and family-friendly. Overall, Houston Zoo is a lovely place to visit, especially for a relaxed and enjoyable few hours with family.

Went for the Christmas lights. Was a good time. Vendors are insanely expensive tho. Parking was a mad house as well. Overall, glad my kids got the experience it won't be a tradition we repeat
