This zoo is wonderfully laid out! Spring or late fall is definitely the best time to visit as the weather is nice and the animals are usually all out and visible. The huge oak trees are awesome and provide lots of shade. They offer a free admission day once a month but I wouldn’t advise going on that day because it’s extremely busy. Traffic is tough getting into the downtown area but it is well worth it to get to enjoy the animals. Definitely a five star rating!!
