Love the Houston Zoo! If you live near Houston and have kiddos it’s worth the membership. Our favorite stop is the Galapagos. Our second favorite are the elephants. So much to see! Don’t forget your snack and drinks. Worth the visit! Weekends are packed and you can’t really enjoy it. Weekday is slow and enjoyable. You can keep an eye out better having little ones.

I’m surprised of how expensive the tickets have gotten. It would be ok if all the animals were available to be seen but they had many out of sight with signs that they’re temporarily away. For that reason, it was not worth the increased entry fees.

The Houston Zoo is a fantastic place for a day out with family or friends. The variety of animals and well-maintained enclosures make for an engaging and educational experience. The zoo is clean, staff are friendly, and there's a good mix of exhibits and interactive areas for kids. While the admission price is a bit on the higher side, the overall experience justifies the cost, especially considering the zoo's conservation efforts and the quality of the exhibits. A few more shaded areas and better food options would improve the visit, but overall, it's great value for money. I’d definitely recommend it!
