Parking probably could be bad if busy. I saw my first Red panda today and he was chilling. The amazing black bear had some matted hair. The place is big. Watched a duck family in this swamp area. A lot to see just be ready for Texas heat. They have some cool exhibits in between. One favorite deal is the have statues all over. And one was a snake. The Trees are really established. On the check in if you walk up to the counter they will direct you back to the sign. A kid saw it quickly. I was like I wasn't that observant.

Such a great experience coming here! Very little "pay extra to have a good time" type of situations. You pay, you get in. You can bring your own food and drinks. The animals all seemed happy and well taken care of. We will be back again for sure.

Lots of animals and spent several hours only to get through 2/3 of the zoo. It was kind of hot but they sold sunscreen, ice cream, and slushies to help stay cool plus the buildings had good air conditioning.

It was a fun day, but many of the exhibits were under construction, or the animals were put away. I would figure on such a busy day like Mother's Day there wouldn't be so many closed exhibits, but that's just my personal opinion. I will still bring my grandkids back.

Good evening, I wanted to share this with the Houston Zoo Family! My daughter had her 7th birthday there and she got to pick out whatever gift she wanted in the gift shop. She named her new stuffy Aurora!🤍 I just wanted to say even though it was raining we still had an amazing time!! Aurora the orangutan was so beautiful and amazing!! My husband and I would love to get the chance to actually meet her in person😁 Have a great night and thank you for an amazing experience at the Houston Zoo!
