Very well maintained with rare animals. Worth spending a day

One of the best Zoos in the US, improving all the time. Went again the morning of a very late cool snap. Everything was wonderful all the animals out. All beautiful, but got to see a young Cougar mom and child run and fly through the air to attack each other. What a treat! Get a membership, a lot of perks, parking, unfortunately, is not one, but worth the walk!

This is the most beautiful zoo I've ever been to. I've never been so close to a lion before, lol... There are so many animals and cool variety too. Drove from Louisiana to spend the weekend here it was definitely worth it!

1st time there and we loved it. We have made it our mission to visit all the zoos in whatever state we travel to and this one was definitely 1 of the best. We didn't get to see all of it cuz the little one was tired and it was a really hot day, but we plan on visiting again in the future. The Animatronic Dino park was cool, definitely worth it for the little ones who love dinosaurs. Something to take note of is you have to buy your tickets online only. They have a QR code & employees at the gate advising people of it. That goes for the handicap or regular strollers/wagons as well. It does make the entry must smoother once people are aware of it

I took my mom to the zoo and we had a fabulous time. We loved seeing all the animals, although some were hiding as it was hot in May, but it is Texas. The only complaint I had was getting a refill from the Cypress Circle Cafe. It was a long time waiting in line just for a refill. They only had one register open. Also, after ordering my food, I waited 10 minutes for my pizza. My mother was almost finished with her meal when I sat down to eat mine. There was a lot of confusion about meals.
