Beautiful zoo. Be prepared for limited parking, so get here early. I recommend taking the train around the park, it is a relaxing way to see the outskirts of the zoo. Also, if it is rainy season be prepared to bring an umbrella. Otherwise, the zoo store does sell some cute ones at a high price :) Aug 2021

Very surprised that on a very beautiful weather day that the zoo was not crowded at all. It was an impromptu trip as we had just run to HMNS and decided to add on a quick run through the zoo since we’re members. This was the first time I’ve had the chance to go since the Galápagos Islands section was opened. Really liked the sea lion part where they could swim right over you as you walked through a tunnel and of course the penguins.

A lot of the animals were inside when we went, and they are building new enclosures. The exhibits that were open and had animals out were really good. Of course the kids loved it!

I would have to say this zoo was probably one of the best I’ve ever been to. This zoo had a lot of the animals up close and personal unlike other zoos I’ve been too. I would definitely recommend this zoo and also make sure you purchase tickets online cause you can’t buy them at the door.

Fix your damn parking because right now its a circus. Any respectable establishment would have this handled but over 45 mins looking for parking is absurd.

Took right around 5 hours to walk through the entire zoo and see every animal. Considering their conservation efforts and the variety of creatures, definitely worth the price. Great selection of well cared for aquatic, avian and terrestrial animals.
