Its amazing place to visit with kids.kids enjoyed each and every corner of the zoo. My favorite was sea creatures and aquarium. Took food,sandwiches ,chips and water with us. Kids loved baby goats there and had a chance to touch them.

A great experience for the whole family, all the staff are friendly and helpful, the facility is very well kept up and will take you hours to see it all.

I value the Houston Zoo and its importance to our city, but its current pricing has made it increasingly inaccessible to many Houston families. Admission costs, combined with high food prices inside the Zoo, force working families to think twice before visiting—or to stay away entirely. While the Zoo offers a free day on the first Tuesday of each month, this option excludes many residents who work during the week. Accessibility should not depend on work schedules or disposable income. If the Houston Zoo is meant to serve the entire community, affordability must be addressed with urgency. Without meaningful action, a public institution meant to bring families together risks becoming out of reach for the very people it exists to serve.
