Wonderful half day trip.
All of us had a wonderful time. Grandparents, parents, and our eleven year old loved the trip. We watched a beautiful family of whales including two calves. Lots of wildlife in a half day trip. The crew was great. The ship was very accessible for my disabled son who was able to see and enjoy as much as everyone else.

Did the one night trip with Butchart gardens. Not a user friendly experience. Going back, the terminal was misleading and can lead you into the wrong direction with no one directing “traffic”. They say you can walk to your hotel that is about 9 blocks away but it involves jumping bags up steps, rolling your bags amongst crowds in the main shopping area. The Butchart garden tour, I couldn’t complete as you had to be back to the bus in time to be able to get back to Clipper terminal to get bags before they close. Overall found the whole trip to be more stressful than relaxing.

No wifi and economy tickets were expensive for Seattle-Victoria round trip, ~175$ per person. Service was great and there were nausea meds.

(Translated by Google) Nature was amazing, but the crew was a bit lazy. They should have looked for whales better; they swam to the bay and, after half an hour, immediately turned around. We were VERY lucky to see a humpback whale right off Seattle. It's far away. But it was amazing! The boat was new, everything was clean. If we'd spent more time searching in the main bay, we would have seen more. We swam to the bay for about an hour and quickly found three killer whales. They were amazing, but after looking at them for 30-40 minutes, we just turned around!!! So, instead of continuing along the main waters and searching for whales, they formally pointed out the killer whales and then swam back. We were lucky to see the whale on the way back, right near the city. (Original) Природа порадовала, а команда немного ленится. Стоило бы поискать китов лучше, доплыв до залива и постояв полчаса сразу развернулись. ОЧЕНЬ повезло прямо у Сиэтла увидет Горбатого кита (humpback whale). Далеко. Но шикарно! Катер новый, все чистое. Если бы дольше искали в основном заливе - встреч было бы больше. Около часа плыли до залива, очень быстро нашли 3 косаток. Они классные, но посмотрев на них минут 30-40 просто развернулись!!! То есть вместо продолжения движения по ключевой акватории и поиска китов они формально показав косаток уплыли назад. Повезло, что кит попался на обратном пути прямо у города.

Wonderful Whale Watching Experience
The boat is quite large and was very smooth - no one in our party of five (including 2 teens) had any motion sickness. The naturalist on board was informative and gave us interesting information about the area, whales, and other animals we saw. The captain did a great job locating the Orca and a humpback whale. All the crew and staff we met were friendly and professional. Two Tips: : 1) It’s suggested to arrive early and we agree that’s a good idea because you’re assigned a boarding group number based on arrival time. The earlier you board the more seating options you have. (That said it’s not a big deal if you board later because no matter where you sit to travel out, you are able to get up and move around and go outside during the excursion; we spent much of our time outside.) 2) it truly does get cold and windy outside, especially as the boat travels. A coat and perhaps a hat with a neck string makes that part of the experience more comfortable! (And we were there in August with land temps in the 80s - out on the water it is chilly!)

You can check your bags early in the day if needed and retrieve them upon arrival and entry into the customs area. You can also have them hold a carry on early in the day and pick it up prior to boarding. If you check a bag, you are the last group to disembark.

A fantastic trip!
Totally worthwhile. We had an excellent tour of the Sounds while the team searched for whales. They didn't give up and even delayed our return to ensure that we had plenty of time to watch the orcas. It was just magic. The crew then sent us pictures that are outstanding to remember our visit. Great trip.

Amazing and convenient experience!
We had an amazing experience with this tour. It was well worth it! We saw two pods of orcas mingling within 20 min of leaving the port, it was about 10 orcas at the same time! This was followed by a gray whale sighting later on with an added bonus of a sealion feeding sighting. We spent ample mount of time with the wildlife, giving everyone the chance to observe and take pictures. Nothing felt rushed. Whole tour took about 4 hours. The crew was amazing, communicated well. The naturalist on board, Zack, was amazing. He was very informative, took the time to answer everyone's questions, and interacted with kids really well. The vessel was quite new, spacious, and well maintained. It was also very clean, including the restrooms. Highly recommend for everyone. Including kids!

We had a GREAT time! The staff made the whole boarding procedure super simple. We saw many orcas -more than we ever expected! The naturalist was very super informative Well worth the price!!

It was fine. We had the best seats and I'm glad we did. It's more like a public ferry than a pleasure boat. It annoyed me that in comfort class with the most expensive tickets, there was a person taking orders for snacks but it was so slow the gally was out of most of the snacks by the time she got to us 2 hours into a 3 hour ride. This is a very practical means of transportation. Highly recommend for that.
