Only Whale Watching Tour Departing from Seattle Waterfront

Our guide went above and beyond to ensure we saw some whales. Saw five humpbacks! I would definitely do this again!

Their partner garage, Bell Street Garage, did not fully honor Clipper’s parking coupon. The coupon only deducted $6 instead of $10. They might be in cahoots to scam customers!

Absolutely incredible. We got to see two gray whales! I could spend all day watching them. Naturalist Xach was so kind, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Everyone from the bartender to the person who checked us in was friendly and welcoming!

Pretty bad experience. Paid $500 for 3 ppl and spent 4 hours, only saw one single whale, and it was a grey whale so you can’t really see anything. Half of the tour (~2 hrs) was on the way to the ocean so it’s not worth it to do a whale tour here at all. Would not recommend. Try San Juan island or Victoria for whale watching tours.

ABSOLUTE ACES! My wife & I came to Seattle for two reasons; to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and to see Orcas. We had visited Vancouver a few years ago and took a six hour boat ride that guaranteed Orcas and saw NONE, and when I booked our hotel I had NO IDEA the FRS Clipper was the ONLY boat that left from downtown Seattle, that the best way to see Orcas was essentially to leave Seattle and head an hour away. I was nervous, she was nervous. But man oh man, these guys more than delivered! We saw at least SIX of the Biggs Orcas and followed them through the water for a solid 2 hours. It was incredible and absolutely made our trip. We went in late August and they knew exactly where to go. The even took and shared their pictures! SO amazing. Keep up the great work!

From Seattle: Day Trip by High Speed Ferry to Victoria, BC

Great experience, friendly crew. If you go, take a jacket and/or a blanket. They keep the inside cabin absolutely cold. We took an end of August trip.

Very please at ride. Comfort Class VIP First row wonderful.

Very pleasant ride and round trip. Comfort Class VIP row 1 seats were wonderful. Easy on…Check-in opened at 7 am boarding around 7:30. Trip back, for those unfamiliar, checkin in Victoria includes a very brief customers immigration check, and in Seattle a fairly quick verbal declaration of items purchased…took no time at all. Disembarkation in Victoria about 25 minutes and upon return to Seattle 40 minutes from docking, through customs and out on the sidewalk.

We love the FRS Clipper!! Comfortable seating, great food/ drink amenities..excellent crew and service. Beautiful terminals in both Seattle & Victoria. Beautiful views from the ferry. I highly recommend this voyage! We've done the cruise 2 years in a row.
