Although the boat had not departed and they would not allow us to board. Tried to contact Viator got no response.

Took the First Stories of the Salish Sea whale watching tour. The addition of indigenous stories about local history and culture during the tour provided a unique experience to an already fun trip. Ship was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and yes we saw whales! Loved their whale sighting guarantee and this is why we chose FRS. Would recommend to anyone looking for a whale watching tour.

TripAdvisor email did not tell you that you needed to board the boat 30 minutes beforehand. When we showed up and checked in and were not there 30 minutes we got attitude from the employee.

It was a nice day out on the water. Clean boat, friendly , knowledgeable staff. We saw a pod of Orcas and some harbor seals. Seeing an orca was on my bucket list, so that was exciting!

AMAZING!!!!
It was the experience of a lifetime!!!!! The pod of orcas was so amazing!!! We watched them feed, breach, play and spout…. It was incredible!!! Out captain was fantastic and our guide was amazing in her knowledge of the orcas AND the islands!! Thank you ..,, absolutely WONDERFUL!!

Overall I have no complaints, it's very easy to get to the meeting point, boat was clean & spacious, we saw the whales we hoped to see, & the photos we received at the end was the icing on the cake!

Not much time to see Victoria
You are on the ferry longer than you are actually in Victoria. By the time you get off the ferry due to customs and having to go through again when you return to Seattle not much time to do anything.

This was an amazing experience and so worth the money/time! Not only was it a great boat ride and our crew was fantastic, but we also saw so much wildlife! I would 100% do this tour again if ever coming back to Seattle!

Best wildlife tour
The crew were great and friendly and vey knowledgeable. This was one of the best tours we have ever done. We saw seals and sea lions and orcas and gray whales. The boat was new and comfortable and cut through the water smoothly.

Only Whale Watching Tour Departing from Seattle Waterfront
Save your money and go on a regular boat ride. We sat in one location for more than an hour looking at one orca fin they say. At first we were amazed and then became suspicious as Orcas travel in pods. The staff was kind and informative.

This was s great way to get from Seattle to Victoria. Definitely get the vip. It's worth it imo. They even showed some for us to see orcas and pointed out penny of things to see. Also booked our Buchart Gardens tour. We could have went on our own but they offered transportation on a double decker bus. The bus driver was AWESOME! He pointed out so much and had great stories.

Wonderful experience
Wonderful experience all around on this tour. The boat is fast and modern and cruised around the sound with ease. The naturalist on board, Alli, was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of great information about the Bigg’s Killer Whales and the gray whale we were lucky enough to see. Made for a once a life time experience for a Midwesterner like me.

Only Whale Watching Tour Departing from Seattle Waterfront
4 hour boat ride with a great naturalist on board who explained what we were looking for. The skipper found us orcas and a grey whale. The boat was comfortable (comfortable seats), the sailing was on time, the bathrooms on the boat were clean.
Whale watching cruise was well worth it. Saw orcas, a grey whale, porpoises, and seals. Beautiful views of Seattle's harbor and idyllic Puget Sound isles.
