Excellent Use of a Half-Day in Seattle!

Wonderful tour. Staff was knowledgeable and respectful of all wildlife and created the itinerary based on real-time scouting reports of animal activity. We were able to see a pair of gray whales and some sea lions hanging out. Well-run operation. Comfortable accommodations on the boat with extensive concessions. Easily accessible from a downtown hotel. Company even texted official photos (with a REAL camera vs my phone shots) soon after. Highly recommend!

Whale Yeah!!!

Great experience. We saw lots of wildlife in their natural habitat. Very comfortable. Bring a jacket.

Ferry is great. Beware of booking with OpenFerry.

The ferry was great. That said, OpenFerry totally messed up our reservation. Clipper picked up their slack. I might have assumed that it was my fault, except that the next people who came into the Clipper office had the exact thing happen to them. Thanks again to Laurie at Clipper for rescuing us this past Sunday.

We were not lucky with whale sightings unfortunately. No fault of the tour. The Naturalist was informative but would be much more helpful with some additional vocal/speech coaching. Her childlike sing song fluctuations made it difficult to follow. The boat was very clean and efficient. The staff very professional. Nice snack bar available. Enjoyable and smooth ride.

They searched everywhere for some whales and finally found some! Great time. Little sunburned. Worth it 😁

The boat they take you out on is very nice , clean and plenty of seating. The top deck does fill up quickly - but the bottom deck near the windows was good. The hosts / captain were friendly. Unfortunately we did not get to see a whole lot. We saw the fin 2 of "Grey" whales and sea lions sleeping. Now this is nothing against the hosts but it was a bit. Expensive to just see that.

Best part is standing on outside deck

Returned from Victoria on a Sunday; quite a line to board and get off. The upgrade Vista level has nice deck area, but indoors, seats face each other so less space for legs and seats don’t recline ( after long day walking, want to rest some on almost 3 hour sail). The next level on same 2nd deck called “Comfort” is aptly named as like Economy Plus on a plane with plenty of leg space, but considerably more cost. Also seems like 2 nd deck should get to disembark first.

Nice boat. Quite crowded. Staff a bit stand offshore and felt a bit annoyed with customers.. Awesome views from ship!

Only Whale Watching Tour Departing from Seattle Waterfront

The people were very knowledgeable and worked extra hard to make sure everyone enjoyed the cruise and got to see whales

Vacay trip

Took awhile to see whales but finally we saw a gray whale! We’ve never seen one before so that was very cool.

Wish we had seen more than one gray whale..

The staff was very pleasant and the whale expert was verg knowledgeable. They looked very hard and we did find one gray whale.

Wanted to see whales, and...

Wanted to see whales, and saw two! Including an apparently rare breach by a humpback. Naturalist Xack was first-rate, and boat crew was efficient and personable. A great experience!
