Relaxing cruise
The seats are comfortable and the food is pretty darn good. We had a couple of nice drinks and sandwiches. Both were very good

Worth the money for two tickets.
We saw three sightings of Orca whales. It may have been three distinctly different Orcas or one very active Orca. The FRS CLIPPER had a biology educator that shared information regarding Orca behavior and Orca research.

It sure Was Fun
Not much experience with ferries, but the crew was helpful, the seating was roomy and comfortable and the snacks weren’t bad. The weather cooperated and We saw lots of Orcas. For 3 hours it was a lot better than a plane ride.

Great trip
Crew was very accommodating, ship is beautiful, food/coffee available. Smooth trip across to Victoria. Ease of getting through customs.

Fast and smooth and comfortable
I was cautious at first, I can get sick sometimes on boats. This is extremely smooth...and very fast and comfortable. Now the Clipper is my favorite way to get to Victoria. Just be sure to check the schedule when making all your trip arrangements since they have limited sailing in the off season.

Double booked
Mistakenly booked a one way trip when we already had a RT. Called with the error within a couple hrs and Viator agent had absolutely no solution but to charge us twice for the one way. ( additional $337). We’ll never do business w Viator again.

Ok
If I had not been on another whale watching tour, I wouldn’t have anything to compare it too. It was ok but I didn’t feel it was worth the money.

The staff were amazing....
The staff were amazing. We just didn’t see any activity except for 3-4 pop ups of minkos whales. Was given a voucher that’s good for a year but not living in the area not sure when I’ll be able to come back. Kinda wish there was an option of getting maybe 50% back of cash back vs voucher. You just really have to be prepared that you might not see whales.

Perfect in all ways comfort , professionalism, smooth ride. Would suggest which has nothing to do with the clipper and crew . Looking forward to travel again.

Fabulous experience!
Outstanding experience! There’s always a chance the wildlife will not cooperate but we got lucky! Wonderful crew and the onboard naturalist was very knowledgeable.

It was a great trip
The boat and crew were great. Small enough to move around and have great viewings. Food was delicious and the weather was amazing. I wouldn't spend the money again for the premier seats, once you are looking for whales, you are up and moving around.

Whale watching done right
It is a most relaxing way to spend an afternoon looking for whales and wild life. The boat is spacious, clean and comfortable. The crew is very knowledgeable and shares their experiences. We highly recommend this trip.

Trip is not 3.5hrs, so be careful of plans afterward
This trip is not 3.5hrs. It was 5.5, although they were late in returning so it was more like 6 from start to finish. They didn’t let us know we’d be late coming back, so some of our plans were ruined. Just be aware.

We were able to spot some...
We were able to spot some him back whales and seals on our trip. The crew were very knowledgeable about the different animals, I especially enjoyed learning about their natural behaviors in the wild.

Easy travel mode
Convenient travel mode between Victoria and Seattle but I'm glad I only took it one way (flew into the Victoria airport from San Francisco). There was not much scenic value in economy with the spray on the window and the route is far offshore. Although you might see some marine life, you will go by too fast to see much (I am used to slower Alaska ferries where there are smaller channels and lots to see.) Many window seats that appeared to be booked online were vacant. Bring something to do as it's a long ride. The staff in Victoria was very friendly. U.S. Customs was smooth. There were taxis lined up at the Seattle dock.

Nice experience, suggest upgrading seating choice instead of economy seating. Definitely go to upper deck and stand outside to view scenery

Great experience
Great experience. We visited protection island and saw plenty of seals and sea birds. As whales are wild animals there was no guarantee to see them, and indeed we were about to give up. But the crew persevered and it paid off!
