We were met by Palli in our hotel and we were pleasantly surprised to see that a local Viking was going to take us on an our tour. He was entertaining showed us a lot of fun sites. The food program was interesting because it was like a five course meal and before our final meal we went to a candy shop and I’m like why would we go to a candy shop before dinner. But this was Icelandic sweets? like jellies and jams which turned out to be an excellent palate cleanser. I even ate 300 year-old shark at the end which was quite an experience. I was told it is considered the most disgusting thing to eat in the world According toPalli. But I had to do it and once you get past the smell it’s not bad. Highly recommend this tour and if you can get Palli you will have the best tour!

The meeting point was a bit confusing because it said by the sandwich shop but we actually met by the pillars. It was all in the same small square but the company should clarify. Our guide was very nice. I thought the start of the tour could’ve been a bit more interesting and I always think it’s nice to start with a quick general history of the country but it improved as we went along. I enjoyed going into the city hall and seeing the big 3D map of Iceland to get perspective about the size of the glaciers. Iceland is an incredible, beautiful country but Reykjavik isn’t a particularly attractive city overall. That being said, I always like to do a walking tour of the cities we visit and had a positive experience.

Mathias was absolutely outstanding. He provided a perfect mix of education and comedy and provide a great experience for our group that varied drastically in age. From the engaging folktales to the stunning landmarks- this was hands down a great experience. We saw the oldest tree in Iceland, and enchanted walk through the grave yard and saw an elf rock!. One of my most memorable parts about my trip to Ísland. I highly recommend.

Guide war sehr gut. Wir waren zu Dritt. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war sehr schlecht. Es war ein kleiner Kneipenbummel(3 und 1 Hot Dog Bude). Wir werden sie nicht mehr buchen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Klaus Heims

We loved it. If you want to get a good introduction to Reykjavik, the history, the life, the situation, take a tour and you won't regret. Steve I. our guide did it in a charming way and after the tour we're packed with information. A really good advertising for the city and the country. It doesn't cost a fortune but it is worth much more. Thanx!!!!

Anna O. was an excellent guide who provided an excellent overview of the Keflavik and Reykjavik peninsula area.
