My fiancée and I did the Reykjavik Cat Walk tour with Bardi and we had a lot of fun. Bardi was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He knew where to go see a lot of the cats in town and he also had a lot of stories to tell about cats in local folklore. We stopped at a cat cafe and had really good hot chocolate! The tour concludes with Bardi introducing you to his own cats. Highly recommend if you love cats!

We had a group of 9 ladies and had a great time! The guide was wonderful, the explanations were great and through, and she even gave us a small tour of downtown Reykjavik! We did submit that one person had some food preferences that she didn't know about but once she found out, tried to do her best to accommodate.

I booked the folklore walking tour on a whim at the end of our weekend in Reykjavik. We were met by our guide, Mathias who immediately launched into the history of Reykjavik and how it was founded. The tour lasted an hour and a half which flew by. Mathias was very knowledgeable and an engaging storyteller. We learnt about the elves and trolls and other magical creatures of Iceland. Some quite gruesome stories that made me wonder what was going on in Iceland that inspired them! Cant recommend this tour enough for anyone who enjoys stories that are magical and macabre. Thanks to Mathias for a wonderful and fun tour.

Unfortunately the tour we booked on, which was the day after our arrival was cancelled as we were the only ones on it, which meant we had to reschedule to our last day. It was a waste of time. The guide was very knowledgeable but spoke quietly so struggled to hear everything he was saying. He also stopped for too long at a lot of the points and on a cold day we need to keep moving. Also the pace was incredibly slow, I suspect this was due to a lady on the tour struggling to walk at a normal pace. I expected more Viking type history, based on the title of the tour, but was disappointed with this. Overall, was just ok, but needs to be done at the start of your trip, which we did book but was moved. You wouldn't miss anything if you didn't book this.

Fantastic walking tour! Bo was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour entertaining and interesting. We really felt we understood the story of the country and capital. We had a small group, and expressed a need to stop off briefly to grab a coffee, which he seemlessly integrated into the tour. Highly recommended!
