Tammy was great - in addition to all the history of the food, there was a ton of history about Mexico and Mexico City that she shared. Wear good walking shoes, but it is well worth it - highly recommend!

Wonderful way to experience local foods you would’t otherwise try. Small group. Informed easy going guide provides a local's foodie perspective of the neighborhood with a bit of history and culture mixed in. More than enough to eat over the course of the walk. Very enjoyable. Very tasty.

Josette seamlessly led our group through the Historic Center with remarkable grace and extensive knowledge. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly kind, accommodating our needs with genuine charm. The food choices were refreshingly unique and of the highest quality—definitely not the usual tourist fare. If you're still deciding on a food tour in Mexico City, look no further. This is a top-tier experience not to be missed!

We are a group of 4 who did the Flavours of Heritage, Historic Centre food tour with Josette in May 2025. To say it was amazing would be a gross under-statement. From the moment we met, Josette’s energy and enthusiasm for all things Mexican food was obvious. By the end we felt like old friends strolling through the city, admiring the architecture, street culture, shopping and of course the food. The food was plentiful, so much that we were happy we skipped breakfast and certainly didn’t need dinner. And it was tasty, the venues we visited felt authentic, and many of the spaces we visited we would have never found ourselves. Tacos, tamales, fresh seafood, exotic fruit, mole and sweets from the oldest candy store in Latin America are but a few of the treats we had along the way. We cannot recommend this experience enough, 5 stars is not enough. Go ahead, book this experience - ask for Josette by name - you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing guide and fantastic food.
This tour is fantastic! You learn so much history along with eating a lot of great food. I cannot say enough about how cheerful, helpful, and attentive our guide, Tania, was. I definitely recommend this tour for others. Oh, and be sure to bring a light rain jacket or umbrella if you are going during the rainy months, like May.

This was hands down one of the best food tours I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve done dozens across the U.S. and abroad. The organization was exceptional, from the detailed itinerary to the thoughtfully designed map. Each restaurant stop was curated with care, offering delicious, distinctive bites that truly reflected the local flavors. Our guide, Stephanie, was both charming and incredibly knowledgeable, weaving in fascinating stories about the area's history and architecture. The leisurely stroll through the neighborhood was the perfect complement to the food. A truly unforgettable experience from start to finish.
