A very tasty & fun afternoon.
What an amazing way to spend an afternoon! Johanna our guide was so welcoming & friendly, as well as being very informative about the foods & the area of Roma we were walking, pointing out street art & places of interest. It was a small group, so felt very friendly. The food was amazing & all beautifully presented. It was interesting trying different dishes & drinks. I would highly recommend… but go with an appetite!

Roma food tour, delicious way to explore the neighborhood
We had a great time with Marianna doing a food tour of Roma. We went to six great spots, with a wide sampling of tacos, tostadas, tamales, ceviche, mole, chocolate and coffee. As we walked between spots we got an overview of the neighborhood as well. It was a delicious way to get oriented!

Camilla was very engaging, attentive to our needs/desires and very informative.. In fact, the tour was a delight, she took us through neighborhoods, giving us some historical facts along the way to each restaurant. She introduced us to the various cuisines of the city, reflecting the different regions and cultures throughout Mexico..It was great..

Recommend! Jorge was amazing! As a solo female, I felt comfortable and safe. Jorge was very knowledgeable about the history of the cantinas we visited and Merida in general. We even saw Parque La Plancha. I felt like a local…break from the usual tourist stops. The service was great and I was able to sample authentic foods and drinks. You will leave happy and full. My tip…book early in your trip so you can return to your favorites.

Excellent tour. The food selections were varied and interesting. Our guide, Angel, was knowledgeable and provided cultural and historical context. We have done food tours in many places but this one has a unique feature. Angel gave us a folded brochure that included all the stops we made, both by name and location on a map, as well as other restaurant suggestions. Every food tour should include this.

While visiting Mérida on vacation, we decided to book a food tour and it ended up being one of the best parts of our trip. Our guide, Dania, was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel fun and authentic. Not only did we get to try incredible local foods, but Dania also explained the history and cultural significance behind everything we ate, which made it even more meaningful. She knew exactly where to take us and introduced us to places we never would’ve found on our own. Every stop was delicious, well-planned, and a perfect mix of traditional Yucatán flavors. Dania also gave us great recommendations for other restaurants and things to do around Mérida, which was super helpful for the rest of our trip. If you’re in Mérida, I highly recommend doing this food tour—especially if Dania is your guide. She made the experience unforgettable!

We had Dania as our guide and had an absolutely wonderful time! She was very prompt, knowledgeable, and super friendly. We got to try amazing food and really enjoyed getting to walk around Merida, learning history and culture as we went. Would recommend this to anyone!

We have done food walking tours around the world and this was one of the best. Angel was extremely knowledgeable and shared wonderful stories about the city and its food. And the food was phenomenal. A very special day in a very special city.
