Delights of Coyoacán: A Boho Feast of Flavors
Thelma was a great guide - friendly, genuinely curious, and excited about food. It was just me on the tour (booked very last minute) and it was great to not only taste a wide range of food but also learn about life in Mexico City. My favourite dish was a tie between the chicken mole (from a cute family-run restaurant) and a quesadilla with huitlacoche - a type of fungus that grows on corn. Definitely recommend this tour and would love to do another one in the future. Warning- come hungry!

My wife and I have been fortunate enough to partake in multiple food tours around the world. We both agreed that this one is near the top of our list. Your guide makes such a difference in the success or failure of your day and Miriam was the best. She was friendly, knowledgeable and also helpful after the tour sending us suggestions and recommendations for the remainder of our trip. This tour did an excellent job of mixing a lot of history of the area along with getting sit down experiences at multiple local establishments. There were no shortage of available tastings and a couple of the spots are the oldest of their kind in Mexico City. My wife is a vegitarian and wanted to be sure to mention that every stop on the tour had a great alternative option avaliable. Plus I really appreciate the fact that this company is locally owned by a Mexico City resident. A true 10 out of 10 experience.

We had an incredible experience on our food tour of Mexico City’s historic center with Miriam from Sabor de México. She was fantastic—knowledgeable, personable, and full of energy. Her passion for the city and its food really came through in everything she shared. Miriam did a great job getting the group to interact, which made the tour feel fun, relaxed, and engaging rather than just informational. It felt like exploring the city with a group of friends. The restaurant selections were excellent, with a perfect mix of flavors, history, and variety. Every stop featured delicious food and drinks, and we were introduced to places we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend this tour—especially if you’re lucky enough to get Miriam as your guide!

Our guide Johana was very knowledgable and introduce the group to some interesting and varied food. Some Mexican ice cream at the end would have been a nice addition.

A fantastic 5 hour food & history tour with Jimena, who was delightful. The time went so quickly and she absolutely delivered what she promised. We were so full at the end & took our sweets back to the hotel to enjoy later. Her knowledge and passion was so engaging. There were only 4 of us on the day which made it very special. We love doing food tours when we travel and this was up there with the best!

I took the Coyoacán tour with Jimena and she was absolutely amazing. She took me to some of the best restaurants, where I tasted some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Highly recommend these guys and Jimena was amazing! super friendly, very knowledgeable and gave me an all around great experience

This was absolutely amazing. My tour guide Jim was so cool and took me to do all the fun things and I was so happy she shared her amazing story and neighborhood with me. The food was great! She took me to some amazing local spots and everything was just perfect!!!
