Jimena did a fantastic job introducing us to the Historical city center of Mexico City while enjoying some amazing dishes along the way. This tour had 10 stops, most with significant tastings. Tons of food and a great tour guide made for a fun afternoon!

A dynamic mix of food, architecture and Mexican history
Mariana led an unforgettable experience. It amazes me how food coincides with architecture and history. For four hours, I ate several delicious culinary creations and digested so much history. I took notes. We tried food and beverages from half a dozen places, got schooled on the crafting of coffee, hot chocolate and cocktails, reviewed the five of the major architecture movements in Mexico City and learned about earthquakes’ impact neighborhood. It was satisfying and I would encourage everyone to check out this tour even if you’re local. It’s revolutionary.

Our tour guide was the best ever and he is a chef! He explained so much of history around each stop and each taco and was super knowledgeable and attentive and cared about us having a good time. You do have to eat a little faster but it’s ok I’m just a slow eater. Drinks at certain stops are included as well. It was wonderful and we were completely stuffed by the end! Highly recommended. Don’t miss it because you will never get the chance again to skip the line and the lines can get super long and you hit all of the best stops and have the best variety of tacos ever!

Great Sampling of Local Street Cuisine
Our guide, Camila, was knowledgeable and engaging. She made us aware of both the the current and historical perspectives of our setting, and gave us a detailed explanation of the food we were tasting, its preparation, and when appropriate the background or history of the eatery and its founder. Camila kept up a steady but comfortable pace throughout the walking tour. It was quite extensive. The final stop with Edgar giving an educated lecture on coffee culture and a refreshing original mezcal cocktail was a highlight. Overall it was a great sampling of the local street cuisine. Highly recommended.

A wonderful and delightful experience
Camilla was wonderful and full of interesting information about the area buildings and of course the food. At each stop we had a delicious sample of various regional dishes. We highly recommend the tour as an introduction to Roma Nortes varied restaurants and diffeent types of dishes.

Come Hungry & Expect the Unexpected!
This was such a great experience and easily one of the highlights of our time in Mexico City. Everything was super organized from start to finish, and there was a lot of food- definitely come hungry because you’ll be trying way more than you expect. The market portion of the tour was especially memorable. It’s not for the squeamish, but that’s what made it so unique- getting a glimpse into a side of the city you probably wouldn’t explore on your own. It felt authentic, a little wild, and really interesting. Food-wise, there was an incredible variety, including some more adventurous options like javelina, which made the whole experience even more fun! But the absolute highlight was our guide, Josie. She was bright, bubbly, and brought so much energy to the group. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it completely elevates the tour. She made everyone feel comfortable, kept things engaging, and honestly made the whole day. All in all, such a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The price is a bit on the higher side, but with the amount of food, the organization, and especially the quality of the guide, it’s absolutely worth it. I’d definitely recommend booking if you’re in CDMX.

Fun & Flavorful Food Tour!
Our Mexico City food tour was exceptional! Not only did we thoroughly enjoy all the food tastings but we also enjoyed spending the afternoon with our guide Angel!!! Angel's passion for the cultural cuisine of Mexico coupled with his knowledge of the city's history and landmarks made this tour a 10/10! The portion sizes and variety of tastings/beverages were perfect! In addition, the tour accommodated our vegetarian daughter without missing a beat! MUY DELICIOSO Y MUY DIVERTIDO!

Carlos und Natalia haben mir einen sehr informativen Abend über die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten zur Zubereitung von Tacos geliefert. Von dem nördlichen Stil über den Traditionellen Tacos bis hin zu etwas ausgefeilteren war alles dabei. Den ganzen Abend über haben wir uns gut unterhalten können. Neben den Tacos wurde auch bei der Mezcal Verkostung nicht an Informationen gespart. Diese Tour kann ich nur weiterempfehlen an jeden, der einen Einblick in die Welt der Tacos erhaschen möchte.

We had such a blast with our guide Thelma! She brought us to places we would never have gone to on our own. Can’t even count how many different foods we had over the course of the tour, which were all so varied and delicious. We loved Thelma’s energy and hospitality- we had so much fun talking to her and asking her about life in the city. Perfect balance of culture and great food!

This walking food tour was hands down one of the best things I did in Mexico City. Over a few hours, we wandered through Coyoacán’s charming cobblestone streets stopping at spots we never would have found on our own — from tiny family-run comedores to hidden market stalls overflowing with color and flavor. The food was incredible. Tlayudas, tostadas, fresh aguas frescas, churros — every bite told a story. But what really made it special was our guide’s passion for the neighborhood’s history and culture. Eating and learning at the same time made everything taste even better. Small group, relaxed pace, genuinely local experience. If you’re visiting Mexico City, book this before anything else. Best introduction to the city you could ask for. 🌮🇲🇽
