Exceeded expectations!
A phemonal day! The best way to get acquainted with a city is through its food. This tour was amazing. We went to six locations and enjoyed sweet and savory, historic and contemporary food, non-alchoholic and boozy drink options - all delicious and even educational. As good as the food was, it was our guide Jimena that made the day so special. She was charismatic, knowledgeable, attentive and fun. This tour is five stars.

We had a fantastic time in CDMX Centro with Josette. We visited a huge array of places and tried so many different things. Josette was a great guide - friendly, passionate about her work, and really fun. She also told us a lot about the history of CDMX and the areas we were passing through. It was the perfect thing to do on our first day here.

We really enjoyed our tour with our guide Tania! We hit 8 spots throughout our three hour tour, including a historic market, a beautiful cathedral, a local bar, a legendary bakery, a couple of stunning restaurants, and the main, popular stretch of the Centro Historico. Along the way, Tania was so knowledgeable about food, culture, architecture, and the history of everything that we saw, visited, and tasted. My wife's favorite bite was the fresh ceviche tostada at the San Juan mercado, and my favorite bite was the plantain-bean empanada at the El Bajío restaurant. We highly recommend this tour. Although it was long (be prepared for the full length in the description), it was action-packed, with a great variety of eating and walking (bring comfy shoes). It was also nice to meet and speak with the other travelers who signed up for the tour.

Johanna was our guide, and she was amazing. She kept us entertained with history and facts during the walk. The food was great, and I’d really recommend taking this tour. We wanted to use this to see Roma Norte, and it delivered!

We did this tour on the first day of our trip. It was a great way to see some of the city and try new foods. Tania was an amazing guide. Very accommodating and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting CDMX.

Jossie was the most attentive and informative guide making sure all guide members were taken care of regardless of dietary restrictions and ensuring every had fun / learned about all the interesting historical tidbits about the city and foods / restaurants we were enjoying. She also made our tour even more special by surprising us with 2 birthday cakes! We highly recommend!

This tour introduces one to so many small, local places that one would not likely find on one's own. As importantly, our host gave us so many recommendations for eating in a number of areas of Mexico City. In terms of the actual tour, our group had several favourites, but, overwhelmingly, we voted for the market food stalls and the the street food stand with seafood tacos. The cantina and final restaurant were also fantastic. Angel is the best host of a foodie tour for whom you could wish. His exuberance & love for Mexico City, his vast knowledge of culinary traditions & Mexican history, and his story telling was amazing. The tour is totally worth it.

Phenomenal food tour with superstar guide
What an amazing day in Coyoacán with Jossie! Wish I could give 100 stars. This food tour was phenomenal and I have done many around the world. We ate in the Mercado, in small fondas, in restaurants, at food stands and more. We tried so many dishes from the humble freshly made tortilla to Oaxacan tlayudas, sopes, tacos, quesadillas and tostadas and there were drinks and sweets too!!!! Jossie gave us a lot of background and history and clearly loves her hometown, Coyoacán and was happy to share it with us. She was attentive, sweet and a lot of fun to spend the day with. The food was great and Jossie was a superstar guide.
