just now New I highly recommend Sabores Mexico Food Tours. We had a brilliant day yesterday, having booked a tour in Coyoacan with our guide, Jimena, a warm and smart person raised and living in Coyoacan. Jimena met us promptly at a really cool coffee shop, El Beneficio de la Duda, …charming and characteristic with great coffee and pastries. We then explored the surrounding barrio, starting with several stops within Mercado de Coyoacan. The market is an explosion of color, aromas and texture. The food was off the charts, and I am confident we would not have stumbled onto such a rich experience without Jimena’s insight and guidance. We booked the “7 Lugares” option, but Jimena seemed to add in extra stops based on our reactions and interests. Truly I can’t say enough, certainly about the introduction to authentic Mexican cuisine but more generally about the rich culture and history of this chic district within CDMX. Brilliant!

Historic Food Tour with Sabores Mexico Food Tours. Tamara G. , our guide, was definitely the major highlight, with her lively personality, her deep knowledge of food, history, and culture! I did this tour in 2022 with my girlfriends and decided to do it again this time with my husband, as I had so many fond memories of this tour. The tours took us to unique, local spots that you might not find on your own, offering a wide variety of authentic and delicious food, including regional specialties. The amount and quality of food was amazing. Very good values for the price. Tamara knew how to include historical facts and funny local stories into the food experience, providing a deeper appreciation for the city's culture. The tour is also accommodating for dietary restrictions. This is a "must-do" and a highlight of any Mexico City trip!

The tour guide, Angel, was excellent! He cared deeply about his love of Mexico, its food, architecture, history and culture. His friendly easy way made the day extra enjoyable. And his English was perfect. Highly recommend him to any looking for a fun, relaxed paced day tasting Mexico City’s varied cuisine. Five stars !

We have traveled to 90+ countries and try to do a food tour in everyone. If we have been on a better, more in depth food tour I cannot remember when :) Kiomi was a great guide, very informative, easy to converse with and the food locations/options, restaurants, and diversity of the food was outstanding. It was a highlight of all around great trip to Mexico City. This is a must do if visiting Mexico City.

Enchanting and wonderful tour

The Colonia Roma food tour with Sabores Mexico Food Tours was excellent. We had a wonderful young woman , Johana, show us around La Toma with 6 eating stops on an enchanting walking tour with so many interesting and tasty items to taste. I can’t wait to try out more on our own. I would highly recommend.

Tour was led by excellent guide Monza. Tour was well paced and combined traditional and contemporary twists on Mexican cuisine. Monza also presented an informative overview of Roma area. Would thoroughly recommend 🙂

Oh my word, what an amazing tour! Even though I had spent days in CDMX and Oaxaca before, I still tasted lots and lots of new flavours and wasn't disappointed the least! Our tour guide, lovely Jimena, was great, friendly, cheerful and very knowledgeable! I won't spoil which food we tasted but prepare to roll on your bellies at the end!

Francesca was THE BEST tour guide. Every taqueria we stopped at was amazing. We did not have to stand in line. She was very knowledgeable about the food and mezcal and we left with full stomachs and new friends. She also shared information about the culture, neighborhoods and people and we were in good hands all the way! This tour is a must do if you’re in Mexico City.

Our group of 6 felt the Sabores food tour of CDMX’s historic center was a hands-down highlight of our trip to Mexico’s largest city. Personally, never having participated in a food tour before, I will now seek one when I travel. What a compelling way to glimpse into culture and customs. A big abrazos to Josette, who could not have been more fun, more knowledgeable, or more kind. Ask for her when you book! Salud!

We had an amazing time on our Taco & Mezcal tour! The food was delicious and everything we learned about the cuisine and the history and passion that makes the food even more incredible was so special to learn about. We had zero logistical issues with the tour and even got to cut in line for our food when there were long lines.

Kiomi was a fabulous, knowledgeable , friendly and enthusiastic guide with a solid background to do this type of work (ask her about Bruce Springsteen!!!!) Kiomi gave us a wonderful day of tasting some of Mexico‘s most delicious food offerings, as well as providing historical background of different places we walked through. I skipped a few of the tastings solely due to my preferences but the other six things that were offered were out of this world. I really learned a lot in five hours and I ate the most delicious things!!! I highly recommend.
